A perfect family villa

There was 14 of us staying including a young baby and the villa was plenty big enough for us all. The pool area was nice and good selection of balconies, seating areas giving us lots of space. Views across the bay were amazing. Fair to say a car or regular taxis are essential as a steep hill to walk and a busy road to cross to go anywhere. Nice local beaches and restaurants. Villa owners were very accommodating and informative and really cared about your feedback and any requests.

Phenomenal Stay, wonderful location, amazing hosts

Great property, stunning views and the best part was the care and attention given to us by the property owners. My wife became ill while on the trip and they even found us a local doctor and booked an appointment for us! We did have a couple of appliances that were not working properly when we arrived and they were taken care of immediately, and did not impact our stay negatively at all.

Beautiful Villa in Crete

We made our reservation a few months in advance, and Manos was very helpful and responsive to our need and answering our questions The villa is very nice and very tidy. It's located on a high hill with spectacular view of the sea. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise and sunset during our stay with a cup of coffee. We arrived to a clean, tidy, and fresh villa. Anastasia, welcomed us shortly after we got in and she showed us around and answered all our questions. She even recommended places to visits and how to buy groceries in the close by town and some nearby restaurants. We are family of nine persons and there were beds for all. The beds were comfortable and the sheets are very clean and crisp. There were plenty of towels for pool and showers. They also welcomed us with snacks, fruits and some basic food in the fridge. During our week stay we had few extreme hot days that we decided to stay in the villa and did barbequing and enjoying the pool and the many entertainment they have. Anastasia and Antonios her husband were very good hosts. They would visit and check on us every 2 days and reply fast to our messages and if need be they would come right away. The only part we had to get used to was the road uphill to the villa. It is a sharp uphill turns. After making it to the top we would cheerfully clap every time we make the turns. Hahaha

Highly recommend

Most amazing beautiful villa and team! Blue Key Villa was absolutely stunning and we had the best team looking after us. From the moment I booked Manos communicated with me and gave me so much help with sourcing other things I needed. Anastasia hosted us when we were there she was always on the other side of the phone anytime we needed her. We are so grateful as it was also there Easter celebrations but they still came out to help us. Thank you to the team there! SERIOUSLY WOULD RECOMMEND!

Ein Traum

Die Villa ist hochwertig und wunderschön ausgestattet. Die Besitzer waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit, jede kleine Bitte wurde sofort erfüllt. Der atemberaubende Ausblick und die fantastische Terrassenlandschaft übertrifft noch den Eindruck, den man auf den Bildern gewinnt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt rundum genossen.

Beautiful views and great hosts.

1st of all i would like to say that the owners Antonis and Anastasia were brilliant, nothing to small or too big if we had an issue or needed advise on where to eat, go etc. The welcome package from the owners is brilliant to, so you have the basics straight away and dont have to stress for milk, bread beer etc straight away. Also not forgetting Manos, who we liaised with prior to arriving, he couldn't do enough too and put us in touch with voyager car renatls who were brilliant. The villas is beautiful and the views are spectacular. The only down side, and let me stress this is only because Dad isn't the best with his knees as hes 73, it is very hilly and the drive way is very very steep. From my point of view, you definitely need a car as the beech as the crow flys is probably 1km, but if you had to walk, we are talking half an hour roughly and 7/8 minutes in a car. The villa has a great BBQ and pizza oven and the facilities are very good, the only advise i could give is bigger cups for tea and coffee. The pool is very cold, so if you like to chill in it alot, l would definitely advise to get it heated! This also is my opinion now, the pool should be heated or at least given the option, as you are paying premium for this villa and you should not be charged extra. Would have been a 10 but for the few small niggles we have given a 9. Highly recommended. All the best for the future Antonis/Anastasia, great hosts.

The Experience of a Lifetime

This was an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING VILLA!!! Manos was so incredible with helping to get everything set before we arrived. He helped with setting us up with the Talented and Great Chef Spiros, and Maria and her Masseuse team; who worked Magic!!! The House is even more Gorgeous to see in person and the Welcome Basket that we received was just the beginning of the MOST accommodating and gracious Host and team EVER!! We will definitely be back again!!

Crete at its best

The villa occupies an elevated position with stunning views and is approached by a steep, winding road. Cicadas chirrup almost constantly, a lovely sound in the warmth of the countryside. The sunsets and sunrises over the hills are beautiful as is the sea sparkling in the distance. The villa is well-equipped and spacious, with comfortable beds and a modern kitchen. There are several outdoor seating areas which provide shade at various times of the day, and the terrace surrounding the excellent pool was large enough to accommodate table tennis and children’s games, as well as outside dining. The host and his wife were exceptionally kind and helpful, even bringing me a birthday cake for my 75th birthday during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The villa was thoroughly cleaned three times while we there, with bedding and towels changed and everything tidied and put in order. Everyone had a great time in the pool, especially the children, and the wildlife lovers among us were excited by the variety of birds we spotted. Binoculars a necessity! We thoroughly recommend Blue Key Villa for anyone looking for a fun, relaxing holiday in a beautiful villa in spectacular surroundings.

Wonderful holiday in fabulous villa

We have just returned from a wonderful week in this exceptional house. We were were a party of 9 ranging from 4 months to 73 years. We enjoyed the many facilities including the pool, steam room, pool table and most importantly the panoramic, spectacular views. The owners, Antonio and Anastasia were more than accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was memorable. We cannot thank them enough for their many kindnesses and hope to return very soon.

Beautiful Blue Key Villa, Perfect Family Vacation Accommodations

Blue Key Villa is beautifully decorated, very clean and well appointed. It was large enough for our group to get together for some fun, but also have some quiet time to ourselves. The outdoor pool area is amazing and was thoroughly enjoyed by all! The owners are lovely, and ready to help, answer any questions and provide recommendations. We would highly recommend staying at the Blue Key Villa if you are staying in Crete. Yamas!

Heaven with a view

Three generations of us stayed in this stunning villa. We mostly stayed outside around the exquisite pool area with the infinity pool. The ambiance of this place just induced total relaxation and we rarely felt the need to go out! Thank you so much we have had a truly fabulous week.

Luxurious villa with commanding view

Our only disappointment was not being able to stay longer in this fabulous home. Not only was the home a beauty but the owners equally so. Meeting us late at night at the airport and sending us off very early on departure day, our hosts did everything possible to make us feel welcome. We were so appreciative of the grocery stocked kitchen and as if that wasn't enough, we were treated to a pizza dinner the night of our arrival which was very welcome given the late hour. Any request we had was dealt with promptly including recommendations for a tour guide to the Palace of Knossos to connecting us with a pharmacy for what turned out to be a broken wrist! Our evening of wine tasting by the pool was one of our highlights of our trip. We also enjoyed the hammam. One could spend an entire vacation relaxing poolside, but unfortunately we were very scheduled for side trips which occupied the entire day. The villa is very well located for connections to the airport and port in Heraklion but is far from Chania and the Samaria Gorge if you are planning to visit those. We hope to come back to visit to be able to stay longer enjoying the beautiful villa.

2 Familien mit Teenagern

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Outdoor - Poolbereich ist wunderschön nur getoppt von der tollen Aussicht. Das Haus ist auf 3 Etagen angelegt - und hat 5 Schlafzimmer. Der Fitnessraum (mit ausziehbarer ? Couch) hat keine Klimaanlage und eignet sich nicht als volles Schlafzimmer. Der Eigentümer der Villa ist immer erreichbar und hat uns mit allen Fragen immer prompt und sehr freundlich geholfen. Für das Museum und den Palast von Knossos hat er uns eine sehr sympathische und mehrsprachige Guide empfohlen, die sehr humorvoll mit unseren Teenagern umgehen konnte. Nach Heraklion fährt man ca. 20 Minuten. Man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto um die Gegend zu erkunden. Das Service (Pre arrival shopping) war sehr angenehm. Alle anderen Services haben wir nicht getestet, aber es empfiehlt sich, einen Koch vorab zu buchen. Die Badezimmer sind mit den wichtigsten Toiletteartikeln ausgestattet. Wir hatten einen superschönen Urlaub und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! 👍🏻

Sehr schöner Urlaub bei tollen Gastgebern

Die Villa hält alles was sie auf den Bildern verspricht… tolle Ausstattung eine fantastische Aussicht und einen mega Pool mit toller Terrasse. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit, organisierten den Covid-19 Test für die Heimreise und waren immer Verfügbar für Fragen und Tipps.. nur zu empfehlen 👍😀

Gorgeous property!

The property and management were wonderful. The villa was absolutely beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. It's location is very central to the local beach as well as the old city. My family and I had a great time, especially the kids with the pool and play area.

Amazing Villa in Crete

We loved Blue Key Villa. The house was perfect for my family of 9. The pool area is awesome and the view is simply amazing. The owners were very welcoming and responsive. Perfect in every way

This property is amazing. It has a fantastic view from its position high on the hillside. Very well appointed with everything necessary and far more besides. Impeccably decorated throughout. It has plenty for guests, steam room, pool table, gym and a fantastic pool area with equal amounts of sun and shade, all protected from the strong winds by glass screens. More than one patio area for alfresco eating complete with BBQ (2) and Cretan oven. There was 9 of us and we had plenty of space. The owners met us on arrival and departure, they are kind and helpful. They also provide a fabulous welcome pack. I cannot praise the piece of paradise highly enough.
