Great place to just relax, surrounded by nature. Simple and private with a wonderful sunny backyard and babbling brook. Well stocked with all the equipment I could have wanted. The road in is excellent. All the electronics worked. Saralyn is a great host.

This cabin was perfect for our family of five and my Mother in law. We chose this area of Vermont close by New Hampshire for lots of adventure, and we got exactly that. Even though we went out most days, one of my favorite days was just spending the day on the property with the chairs in the brook and listening to a favorite playlist watching my boys skip rocks. The interior design, organization and complimentary items were all so welcoming and appreciated. Saralyn was so kind, helpful with recs, and responsive. Some adventures we enjoyed included an out of the way side trip to cliff jump at Warren Falls on the drive up, kayaking at the beautiful Lake Willoughby and hiking Mt Pisgah (it's really physically demanding tho ;-o), horseback riding at Bretton Woods and cliff jumping at the falls that are near Omni Mt. Washington (the best!!!), boat rental w/ water sports on Squam Lake, and a few hours at the beautiful Echo Lake. We also saw a bear while heading to the Rialto for a movie night. We missed going to Flume gorge which looks amazing... A must for next time. This property is a great pick!!!

This beautiful cabin is meticulously maintained, with everything thoughtfully labeled and readily available for your convenience and comfort. The hosts are incredibly kind and respond quickly to any needs. We absolutely loved the feeling of being remote while still being less than 15 minutes from town. This was hands down the best weekend getaway we've ever had, and we can't wait to come back!

Perfect return trip

This was our second stay at the cabin and it was just as good as the first visit. Saralyn and Adam have made some great improvements including upgrading the internet and adding a swing bench just off the deck. The surrounding area is beautiful both in NH and VT but the property is so nice on its own that we were happy just spending time in the evening down by the brook with a fire going. The inside is very well equipped with pretty much everything you could need. Very cozy when it's cooler out but also has AC and fans for warmer summer days. We had a great time and look forward to visit #3 in the future.

Unbelievable views on the road in, a beautiful home, and so well maintained and organized. Nearby to Santa’s Village and all the nature you can handle. Had a great hike at Weeks State Park and enjoyed a walk and the shops in Lancaster. Owners go way above and beyond to provide everything you might want (and a few things you didn’t know you needed- those marshmallow roasting sticks!) in a vacation home. Perfect family getaway, already talked about when we might be able to rent again.

Spring at the brook

This property is an absolute treasure. The peaceful sound of the brook and the tucked away feeling even though town is just a short drive was the perfect way to relax for a weekend. Inside the house, everything was thoughtfully labeled, the beds were clean and comfy, couldn’t ask for more. Bring bug spray if you’re going to hang out on the porch in the spring and enjoy this lovely place!

Santa’s village

My wife and I took our three small children to Santas village. This was probably one of the best and well stocked houses that we have ever rented would definitely recommend.

Great stay!

Quiet getaway with full features. Listen to the stream run and the birds chirp. Hardly any traffic on the road and SUPER quiet at night. The deck is a great place to chill out at night with local beer and cheeses and coffee and pastries from the Polish Princess in the morning.. The mountains as you drive around provide fantastic views. Had a great stay!

Cape Winter Wonderland

This property is exactly as advertised. It is well stocked with everything you could need and very comfortable. The property is remote but we had a great time exploring Lancaster which has a wonderful brewery and BBQ restaurant. The host went above and beyond to make our trip easy and stress free. I would look forward to staying here again.

The Cape is so cozy! Everything you need and VERY detailed instructions. All beds and accommodations were very nice. The river in the back is relaxing. We had a blast!
