Bright luxury apartment with three balconies for up to four people located in the heart of the historical distric of the Austrias (Plaza Mayor).

It is a property of 77 m² (828. 47 ft²) with ceilings 3.70 m (12 ft) high decorated with the utmost care and fully equipped to guarantee the best accommodation experience. Air conditioning through all the property.

The property was selected by the prestigious magazine AD Arquitectural Digest (Spanish edition) for a web article about it's impeccably original style published on 2nd August 2017.

The property is perfect for couples, friends, business trips and families with kids above 12 years old.

The apartment is on the third floor (serviced by an elevator) of a historic building of 1850 which has been completely restored recently.

It has a large living room with two balconies, sofa, fireplace; dining table up to six people, coffee table; Smart TV with Netflix and Satellite TV. Independent Air Conditioning System Cold / Heat

The first bedroom has a balcony, Pc working area, ceiling fan, independent Air Conditioning Systeme Cold / Heat; Smart TV (Satellite and Netflix) and a complete ensuite bathroom;

The owners live in the very same building in a different apartment therefore you will enjoy your stay with all the privacy but we will be close just in case you need any help.
One of us works in the Tourism industry so we are really willing to help you with your plans around the city.

The apartment is very well located in the middle of the main attractions in town. Plaza Mayor and Mercado de San Miguel are just some steps away. On a walking distance you can reach Puerta del Sol (5 min.), Opera Square (5 min.), The Royal Palace and the Cathedral of La Almudena are just at a 10 minute walk. The popular gastronomic market of San Miguel is at a stone's throw away.

The pulsating neighborhood of La Latina and it's famous flea market of Sundays is only at a 10 minute walk from the property.
Prado Museum and Thyssen Bornemizsa Museum are at a 20 minute walk.

Central, Comfortable Apartment

This apartment in Madrid was central to all the local attractions, dining and shopping. Located on the 3rd floor (there is an elevator), the apartment has all you need including nepresso machine, combo washer/dryer, A/C and overhead fans. Our hosts were punctual with letting us in and answered every question we had timely. They even supplied us with a few drinks, fruit and treats! During the heat of the summer, we came back to a very cool apartment. The apartment was over a central shopping area but was still very quiet inside- you would not know!We would most definitely consider staying here again.

Magnificent Madrid, magnificent stay

This apartment was even more beautiful than the pictures show. The location is perfect! right next to the Plaza San Miguel and the Mercato. And yet, with the windows closed, is completely quiet. With the windows open, the terrace is a beautiful spot for coffee or cava and to watch the activities. Miguel & Adrian are the most wonderful hosts. There was an assortment of snacks & beverages for us to enjoy, as well as a thorough explanation and maps of the things to see and do in Madrid. There were lovely sweet touches everywhere. Our only problem was that we only had a few days and were torn between just staying in this awesome place or getting out to see the incredible sights of Madrid.

Gem on Plaza Mayor!

This property is a gem!- Great location right off Plaza Mayor with easy walking access in central Madrid and minutes from Madrid metro and train station, right around the corner from the Royal Palace, Mercado San Miguel, and others.- Gorgeous apartment with all the required amenities.- Fourth floor (high enough to avoid most street noise) with an elevator.- Miguel and Adriano are perfect hosts, very thoughtful and kind. Communication was thorough and easy, well before we arrived and during our stay. They even provided snacks, fruit, coffee/tea, and adult beverages for our stay (the wine was excellent!). - Our new favorite place to stay is Madrid, and we will be sure to return.- Absolutely on point, cannot think of any suggestions.

Great stay again!

This is our second time staying here. We stayed about a week. Located right next to Plaza Mayor, it is also walking distance to Sol and the Royal Palace. Clean and spacious apartment with a clothes washer and small kitchen. Highly recommend!

The Spectacular Apartment Stay

This lavish apartment offered by Adrian and Miguel through Vrbo was the perfect place for us during our stay in Madrid at the end of September. Not only was the decor a centerpiece of artful achievement, but the location of this apartment just steps outside one of the archways off the Plaza Mayor is a perfect place to explore all the wonderful historical areas of old Madrid. The metro is close enough to bring all of Madrid within one's reach. In the apartment Adrian and Miguel have provided well organized literature on all the area places and "cercanias" (historic cities reached in an hour or two), and Ramon who was sent to show us around the apartment and answer any questions gave us many invaluable ideas about the places we might see and where we could look up more information in the literature. We totally enjoyed this well maintained 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment where the kitchen and beautiful dining room gave opportunity to cook and enjoy some meals, the living room with balconies could be open to the atmosphere of life in Madrid or just relaxation and conversation. We really loved this apartment we shared with a dear friend.

Beautiful apartment in convenient location

This charming apartment is exactly as presented online. It is beautifully decorated with art and architectural features that reflect the Spanish culture. The location is perfect. Shops, restaurants, and many key sites are within easy walking distance. We especially enjoyed the big fluffy towels, comfortable beds, and cleanliness of the rooms. During the day we opened the large balcony doors to let the rooms fill with natural light. Some mornings we enjoyed coffee on the balcony as we watched the city wake up. The communication with our hosts, both before our arrival and during our stay, was first-rate. They knew how to make travelers feel welcomed and at home. We have stayed in many short term rentals and this elegant residence ranks at the very top.

A gem!

Hands down the best apartment stay we have ever had (US and abroad). The flat is a few doors down from the Plaza Mayor. 3 sets of doors that open onto little balconies, one where you can have your coffee and watch the city wake up. Small kitchen is very well thought-out and easy to navigate. Biscuits, wine, etc on the table. Cold beer in the fridge. Beautifully decorated. They would check in regularly to see if we needed anything (we didn't). The owners have put so much love into this place and it shows. Anyone would be lucky to stay here.

Beautiful Apartment in Fantastic Location

We were so impressed with our stay here. The apartment was thoughtfully prepared and the layout of two bedrooms and two bathrooms was perfect for our stay. The kitchen also had everything we needed to make dinner and drinks. The location is perfect, close to everything we wanted to see. We cannot wait until our next trip to Madrid so we can stay here again!
