Great Hotel - Central Madrid

I've stayed many times at this hotel while on business in Madrid. It's location is excellent. Hotel is in great shape and clean. Elevators can take quite a while to show up at times. Great staff. Great restaurant. Great bar. Lobby is comfy and a great casual place to meet clients, friends and grab a drink.

Great location

Great location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. There is a nice service lounge and coffe bar by the front area that is airy and bright where you can wait for friends or take a quick break to enjoy a drink. Don’t forget to choose breakfast option - I love having plenty of fresh fruits with various charcuterie spreads.

This hotel is way overpriced and if you don’t know their language good luck, they are very rude. Breakfast Costs 3 times of what other hotels charge, the hot tub was filthy and I would never stay there again, I asked them to clean it and they eventually did and used the same nasty filter. It’s a tourist trap, everything is 3 to 4 times the regular price as other hotels in the area and I would never stay there again, the other local hotels are cheaper and better. Breakfast staff was rude and they charge $21 in Spain and you can get a whole breakfast mean for about $5 to $6 elsewhere and be treated with a smile, I was in Spain for a little over 2 weeks and my only complaint was this hotel.
