Terrible experience

Stay was terrible. No soap in the bathroom, no extra towels and the bed was uncomfortable. Staff was rude and very uncooperative, the room is very small and it falls way below the standard expectation of even a 1 star hotel.

This is a very budget hotel. No amenities, not even a water glass. That said, it was clean and quiet despite backing up to a major highway. The reception people were very nice.

The hotel is ok for the price paid, and also considering it is not in the center of Lyon. I report a bad experience with one person at the reception, as this person was stubborn to just speak French. No effort to speak in English. If the issue was that the person doesn't speak English, maybe the reception is not the best place to be working.

Exactly as described! Everything was really clean and the room was comfortable. Showers and washrooms are shared but kept really clean at all times. Transport is limited at nights and it's a bit far from the more toursit areas. Overall definitely worth it and good value.

Good location, ten minutes walk from metro station into centre of Lyon.Very friendly and efficient staff on front desk. Rooms neat and tidy and shared showers worked well. Enjoyed a filling and very cheap petit dejeuner (3.50 euros). They also looked after my luggage while I waited for room to be ready.

The receptionist I found do not speak English. And could establish that I had already fully paid. After she understood that I had paid, still had to wait for her boss to come and confirm. The internet is/was not working. I was traveling with international phone without data, relying on WiFi. May be the reception computer did not have internet and could not see that I had paid? The room was clean. And had an extra bed ontop which is good for a family, though I was traveling alone
