We arrived and there was no lockbox. I called the host and while he didn’t speak English, my French is good enough that I was able to understand that he was not expecting any guests and the apartment was NOT available. He said he would call me back but never did. We were able to find (expensive) accommodation of the night but needless to say I am unhappy and need a refund.

Surprising !!!!

Studio propre moderne calme fonctionnel mais helas dans un cadre totalement insalubre. Petit immeuble avec courette sale en mauvais etat... Le propriétaire nous a affirmé qu il serait bientôt réhabilité. A part ces inconvenues notre séjour à Lyon a ete très agréable. Cordialement

Notre séjour s'est très bien passé Emplacement idéal pour nous : proximité du métro et de la gare Partdieu et d'une rue commerçante. Et toujours l'excellente boulangerie en bas de l'appartement

Endroit calme et propre. Les parties communes sont un peu rustiques. La serrure de la porte d'entrée de l'appartement nous a causé quelques inquiétudes et aurait besoin d'une vérification. La boulangerie toute proche est vraiment une bonne adresse

This unit is in an excellent location, very compact - conveniently above a popular patisserie and next to a very friendly pub. It was an easy walking distance to the train and metro. It was good for our needs and inexpensive. Communication, however, was very limited and we had several frantic phone calls before we could access the flat and then more frantic phone calls for the Wifi.

Communication was very poor. I was not given the full check in details prior to my stay. Come check in time on the day of my arrival I still did not have all the details and the host was not responding. I managed to get into the building but did not have any idea of which apparement was mine or how to access it. I had no contact from them for another hour and I was left waiting in the corridor. Once the host did get in contact I was verbally directed on where to go and how to get in. Upon being in the apartment I found nothing was set up and no further instructions about internet access etc. so I called them back and they told me they would come to the building to show me all of that. Another hour went by and when they arrived they were surprised to see me in the appartement as apparently I was meant to go to the one a floor above, hence why nothing was set up. After I apologised and offering to go upstairs (which had been set up) after some discussion and questioning we discovered that I was in fact in the correct unit that I had booked and the one they had set up above was a completely different and smaller space. The appartement itself was comfortable enough but they experience of getting there and checking in is enough to make me not consider staying here again.

Donc au niveau de l’arrivé le propriétaire es à disposition, au niveau de l’emplacement de l’appartement il est à côté de tous, boulangerie sympas en guise de voisin de porte de Hall, la PartDieu est vraiment à 5minutes à pied, Et je tiens à préciser que la femme qui nous reçois et super sympathique ! Merci à eux pour leur confiance

To be fair, the property inside presented well enough, clean, functional, a comfortable bed and it suited our needs to be very close to family. However, if you have to meet someone, who has been delayed and then endure a midnight walk from the train station through the rats, tramps and dog faeces everywhere, then to be greeted in the apartment by the smell of foetid drains you might want to consider alternative premises. A damp towel in the plug-hole helped and make sure the bathroom door is secure, to reduce any unwanted waft. The patisserie next door was always a fabulous, olfactory relief at breakfast. Okay, the criticism is not necessarily the fault of the apartment, but it does sum up the area quite well. Budget accommodation only.

des échanges téléphoniques compliqués mais ça finit bien

sur le site le numéro commençait par +33 336 et trop de numéros derrière ... Grosse difficulté à joindre le propriétaire car je n'avais idenfié que c'était un numéro d'un téléphone portable. Cette ambiguité levée, tout c'est bien passé. Le lit fait serait un plus. Ma recommandation : revoir le numéro indiqué sur le site pour éviter d'autres déconvenues
