The Dutch town Friedrichstadt 6 km, Tönning 6 km. In the surrounding area there are many different well-marked bicycle routes/tours, bicycle sheds available. There are also fishing opportunities in the area and the fish can be taken directly and even smoked (smoking barrel and chest available). The Holländer Städchen, Friedrichstadt, Tönning with the Multimar Wattforum, Husum the gray city by the sea, Büsum with its family book or the long sandy beach of St.Peter-Ording are within easy reach.
