We enjoyed our stay at Carl's Nest. The unit has a great layout, spacious, functional and comfortable. The decor is fabulous. We even used the hot tub one day which was so nice after a long day. The management company was able to drop by some extra towels we requested and checked in to make sure our stay was going well. The shower had a good pressure and hot water. The neighborhood was quiet and close to everything we needed. I took off one star because there were huge black flies in the house (not caused by us). I asked the management company for a fly swatter since they would buzz around us when we were sitting on the couch or getting ready for bed but they said they didn't have any so we had to improvise with magazines. We killed five while we were there two days and still had some buzzing around us.

My main complaint with this property is that there is a bug problem. I understand it could have just been that time of the year and it can be hard to control but had I’d known about it, I would not have booked this place. Since I didn’t see any other reviews about it I want to let others know. The door to get into the property was constantly covered in bugs, whenever we came and went I had my husband open the door for me so I could run in and out. They were also crawling into the house and my husband kept having to get rid of them. This is a big deal in my book and ruined the stay for me.

Beautiful condo and décor. Modern appliances and fixtures. Very comfortable mattresses and couches. Fluffy towels. Well-equipped kitchen. Lots of outlets. Private enclosed area for hot tub, grill & Adirondack chairs. Coffee maker both drip and Keurig with ample pods for our entire stay. Location quite good for walking to nearby trails.

Probably the best VRBO I have ever stayed at. The property was well equipped for any laundry/ cooking needs. Very clean. Beds were super comfortable. Located away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough for a grocery run.

This is the one

Based on my experiences with vacation rentals, I have learned to set my expectations low. Upon arrival and throughout my stay at Carl’s Nest my expectations were exceeded by a large margin. The property is very well furnished and maintained. It was as though it had been renovated the week before my arrival. Communication with the host was excellent and pleasant. If you are looking for a nice place in Loveland this is it. Go ahead and pull the trigger.

Lovely, Warm and Inviting Home Away From Home!

We loved our stay at Carl’s Nest and this has been our second stay at this happy little home.Carl’s Nest is my number one choice to stay in Loveland and I am so appreciative to have such a wonderful, well appointed home to stay in when the opportunity presents.

Perfect vacation home

Had a little bimp getting the code to work to get in house. However everthyng was quickly fixed withba phone call. Carls Nest was spotlessly clean and welcoing. It has everthing you need for a stay. Beds super comfortable and hot tub a delight at the end of a day of traveling and adventuring.

Great property

Condo was perfect! Clean, updated, full kitchen, washer and dryer worked great. Super comfy and welcoming. Bedrooms with own bath was amazing. Beds comfy with extra linens if needed. Neighbor to left (not part of condos) and neighborhood were not ideal. Trailer park can be seen behind bedrooms and next door neighbor’s property was a disaster with a dog. We did not walk to town because of surrounding area. This has nothing to do with the listing itself, would rent again from property management, they were excellent. Just want to be sure you know the area around the condo itself.

Loved Our Stay at Carl’s Nest

Carl’s Nest was clean, nicely furnished with two large bedrooms upstairs, each with their own bathroom. Downstairs has a comfortable family room, big kitchen and dining area. The layout is really well done. The entry was straightforward, not complicated like some places and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with. Wish we had a few more days there to just do nothing and try out the hot tub. Check out was easy. The neighborhood is eclectic, quiet and safe. And near restaurants and shops. I highly recommend Carl’s Nest. My best experience with a short term rental so far.

Wonderful stay

Very clean, comfortable unit! It had everything we needed for our stay. Linens were very nice. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, baking dishes, utensils, etc. Bedrooms were spacious and bed were very comfy. Definitely would recommend!!!

Comfortable Pleasant home

This is a well maintained, up to date and comfortable home that served as a great homebase as we explored the Loveland and Ft Collins area. We were a bit surprised at the age and condition of some of the other properties in the immediate neighborhood, and the parking really is limited to one vehicle, but neither issue negatively impacted our trip. We would stay here again, thank you for providing such a comfortable home.

We loved the nest!

This property was beautiful! It was immaculately clean, with comfy beds, nice sheets and towels, and a perfectly stocked kitchen for cooking. We had everything we needed. We had a great time relaxing here and would stay again for our next girls weekend.
