The listing was well stocked with necessities. The rooms were a little smaller than they looked in the pictures but were still adequate. Is within easy walking distance to food and groceries. Enjoyed our stay.

What can I say about this stay? It was fantastic! The host was amazing and was always available to answer any questions or concerns. It was a great area with lots to do, eat, and parking was good. Oh did I mention the host was fabulous! The listing was as it was posted.

Very conveniently located, nice neighborhood with some decent restaurants within walking distance. Very clean with plenty of comfortable beds, bathrooms. Plenty of fans upstairs to balance out the temps between upstairs and downstairs, which are on the same A/C unit - but that was manageable. Host was very attentive and friendly. Would stay here again!

There were three couples in our party and we had more than ample room. We hung out on the second floor for most of the stay as the living and kitchen area on the first floor was too small for a gathering but that was not a problem. We had no issues with parking or finding the home. Everything was clean and it was very well stocked. This was a great location for siteseeing and felt very safe and secure. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This house is fantastic and we could not have asked for better hosts for our Louisville visit. Our kids loved being able to walk to restaurants and shops right there in St Matthews, and location is convenient to everything in Louisville. Would stay there again!

We stayed here with a group of 8 adults for a long weekend and found the space to be more than sufficient for everyone. The second-floor layout and amenities were perfect for gathering and relaxing together in the evenings. The property is in a fantastic location, with plenty of restaurant options within easy walking distance. Highly recommend for groups looking for comfort and convenience!

Nice place good area

Stayed here with a group of 5 to do some bourbon drinking. Area was great. Property was nice. A bit confusing inside… took a minute to figure out the layout but actually worked out well for our group.

Great location for the Derby

The property is located in one of the nicest, safest areas of Louisville. A local organic-style whole market is located kitty corner from the house. An ice cream parlor, a great pizza place, and breakfast/coffee shop are a quick walk away. While in Louisville, we checked out The Zoo, Churchill Downs, downtown area, and Mega Caverns (a must for those wanting a unique experience). The house is located 15 minutes away from everywhere we wanted to go. My teenage son and I claimed the upstairs which had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large kitchen with seating area. The first level was nice for my sister, BIL, and two nieces, and for one night only, my dad and his wife. Since there were more people on the first level with only one bathroom, most mornings they needed come upstairs to use the bathroom. The house has a very historical feel, so expect the interior flaws that go along with that.My only complaint was the smell from what can only assume was the dumpsters in the surrounding areas. I know this is not under the control of the owner, which is why I didn't let it affect my rating. Plus, it didn't affect the excitement of the family when they saw fireflies for the first time!I highly recommend this property when visiting the Louisville area!

Great location

The City of Louisville and the Commonwealth of Kentucky stole our hearts on this trip. Chuckwick House was a great home base for us.
