Unclean and Outdated

Upon arrival with my toddlers, I did an inspection of the floor to be sure there was nothing they could get there hands on. The carpet was not vacuumed. There was visible evidence of hair and crumbs. The perimeter was littered with a variety of bits and pieces. Luckily, since we are heading south for the winter we had a vacuum with us. Beds were soft and uncomfortable. The shower never got hot, tepid at best. In contrast, this evening we are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn- a great experience!

Marriott ā€¦ Cleanliness 0%!!!

We arrived late from a long drive. Placed in a ground floor. Room has DIRTY towels from previous guest. What the!!!!! Is this ā€œMarriottā€™s latest standardsā€. I informed the front desk right away. Offered me a new room but we came from a long drive and my partnerā€™s in bed by that time, changing room is not a good not a good solutionā€¦ I think getting the used towels from the room was, but thereā€™s no available housekeeping on site. Breakfast is okay. Check out. I told the staff (guy), that weā€™re checking outā€¦he seems occupied with other chores ā€¦. Not totally listening and no ā€œGood morningā€ either. No customer service. I I travelled a lot and stayed in hotels. This is the worst hotel for this trip.

This hotel was remarkably clean. The room was spacious. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Would 100% recommend and will be back.
