Riverfront Vacation Home has 2 Bedrooms and 2 Full Bathrooms located on one full acre on the Wally Road Scenic Byway. Back yard features private stone beach on the Mohican River, perfect for launching/landing of your own canoes, kayaks, or tubes. Easy access to the water allows for fishing, swimming, or river sitting while watching others play in the water. We are located just 2 miles downriver from Mohican Adventures and 3 miles from the main entrance to Mohican State Park.

Memorial Day holiday in Mohican area

Your rental home, has been completely remodeled and updated very tastefully ! Our family consisted of 5 adults, 1 teen, 1 4.5 month old, and 1 dog. She especially loved your yard and chasing birds. We had plenty of room. We prepared all our meals at the house. Loved having a dishwasher. Our group's only negative was matress on the sofa sleeper. Please get that relaced. My 2 nephews found it very uncomfortable. I personally would remove the love seat and add a very sturdy futon, that could also be used as sleeping space. Would I recommend and or return to this rental? Absolutely!! The house is beautiful and located on the Mohican river. Very close to the Mohican state Park and other outdoor activities. Thank you, A. We've stayed at this property multiple times as we travel to this area a few times a year. There is a reason we keep coming back! The property is nice, clean, and in a perfect location. We love having the Mohican River right in the back yard.

Nice Property Along the River, Close to Park

We enjoyed our stay. The river is peaceful and the yard is big enough for the dog to run around in unleashed (though there are no fence barriers). The house is small but very clean and with nice furniture and new fixtures. Great laundry room with extra shower. We stayed in winter and the heat was excellent with separate controllers for main room and bedrooms (ditto a/c though we didn’t use it). There’s not a huge amount of closet space but for two of us it was fine. It’s very close to great trails in Mohican State Park and to Loudonville and services, but felt more remote. Communications with the host were excellent, Drew was very responsive and great to talk to on the phone. I recommend this cottage!

The house was just beautiful and very clean. The view of river was great and we enjoyed the fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked and it was easy to cook. We would definitely consider another stay. Fall was beautiful, but it would also be really fun in the summer.

Property great despite bad timing of trip

The property is very clean and has great access to the river. Bad timing as the remnants of hurricane had it rain our whole stay but we were still able to enjoy some hiking in the area. Nice covered patio, nice sized backyard and fire pit by river would have been great to enjoy but maybe next time. No issues with finding property as host had good directions and notes about entry and tv. Would definitely recommend this property. I am sure it is beautiful when leaves change as that area is very scenic. Also would be fun destination in summer to enjoy playing or floating in the river. Great stay overall.

We had a wonderful stay. It was so nice to be on the river. The house was spotless and well-appointed. The beds were so comfortable and we all slept well. We enjoyed playing games on the covered porch and fires beside the river. We found some nice antique stores in Mansfield. Drew was quick to reply to my questions. We will definitely be back!

We took a friends group trip to the river and were not disappointed in this house! Amazing deck, yard and view of the river. We enjoyed the direct access to river along with the fire pit near by! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean house with river front property. We will be back!
