Superb host and property! Hot tub and sauna were just what we were looking for. Well appointed house with all the amenities. (Towels plentiful and of exceptional quality.) Excellent eye to design made for a most enjoyable stay. We will definitely book again next Spring! Have already shared link with other friends. Highly highly recommend!

Spectacular. Everything about the weekend was perfect starting with the ranchita. The weather mid-January was sunny and yet we got abundant use of the outstanding hot tub and sauna. The house was a great spot for a reunion with dear friends with lots of hanging out in different comfortable spots, lots of cool time & loved the plancha which worked like a professional cooktop. Lexy is a great host and responded quickly to any questions. Cant wait to come back!! Memories were made!

We loved our stay in the surf ranchita. The house had everything you would need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were cozy and decor was so cute. Our only problem was the living room couches were not comfortable. We all sat down to watch a movie together and they were not as intimate as the rest of the house. We made do with extra pillows and blankets.

If you are looking for a beautifully appointed, unique, non-cookie cutter stay with some truly stellar amenities, the Surf Ranchita is for you! We loved everything about this house; there are thoughtful touches around every corner and it was clear the host cared about making our stay wonderful! I would definitely rent this property again!

Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. Traveling with our 2 adult sons the home was a perfect size. Beds were comfortable. Ample dishes, towels, etc. were provided. Easy drive to Los Osos, Morro Bay, & SLO. Grocery store just minutes away. Easy drive to hiking trails. Would definitely recommend & stay again.

Relaxation defined

Amazing bathrooms (the heated floors and orchids), amazing sauna and hot tub - both clean and relaxing. Fun, eclectic touches all throughout. Teens enjoyed seeing the phone booth. Comfy beds and wonderful fire pit outdoors. Would come back again. Great base for exploring Los Osos hikes, Morro Bay, and San Luis Obispo.

Fantastic experience!

Stopped over between Orange County theme parks and the Yosemite mountains for a brief beach experience Wished in hindsight that we could have stayed several more days! Great hosts and a truly wonderful place. Highly recommended!

We stayed one night during our road trip to different national parks. We had a lovely stay - the house was very well equipped, comfortable furnishings and adorably decorated. Feels very welcoming like staying over a friend’s house. We will stay here again!

Perfect stay in a gorgeous house!

Stop your search and rent this house! You are in for a treat! Wow! I have rented loads of short-term rentals and this would easily make my top 3. Let me just summarized few things: 1. Communication: it was so easy to communicate with the host. They were super responsive, kind and thoughtful in every interaction. They accommodated all our requests and was gracious while doing so. 2. The house: the house is so gorgeous and nicely decorated. The attention-to-detail is exceptional. TV in every room, throws, floor-warmer in the bath. They even have dental floss in the toilet!! Additionally, the accent lights have dimmers! I have not seen any rental property with so many amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and can't recommend this property enough!

Tranquil living on vacation

Almost by accident my wife and I found this property. We were looking for a home to relax that was centrally located on the central coast area and that offered warm and premier features. And this property delivered! At first, we thought we might be in the wrong place because it felt like we were walking into someone's home! We'd never stayed in a place where the owner had gone to so much detail to make visitors welcome. From food in the kitchen, to the artwork and furnishings, to the luxury sundries in the bathroom. I mean, who provides dental floss to their guests? Thinking through these details is so thoughtful that it's almost unimaginable. The property includes both a hot tub and sauna...a Sauna! a welcoming layout with an easy flow to it. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. And the private main bedroom includes both a sitting room, office working zone, and sliding doors out to the large outdoor patio. 2 walk-in showers is ideal for all visitors and ADA friendly. Honestly, we didn't want to leave but most assuredly will be back. I can't rate this one high enough!
