The hotel is located in a hotel area, very conveniently located to a supermarket and the dolphin adventure. We were disappointed not to be greeted with a drink and cool towel like most of the other hotels that we have stayed at in San Jose del Cabo. The the person who checked us in upon our arrival, continued to let us know not to make any noises of any sort and reiterated that as if we were being stereotyped. On multiple occasions, I asked Oscar or concierge and Norberto, who were both in charge of making our reservations to please acknowledge my boyfriend‘s birthday during our dinner in a walk at the restaurant. This was not done and the whole trip was for my boyfriend‘s birthday. I was disappointed that I had to ask on two separate occasions for a wine opener because ours kept breaking. On our last day during breakfast, I also asked the manager to please acknowledge my boyfriend‘s birthday during our breakfast in which she forgot and then walked over a chocolate cake to our room, which I did appreciate but frankly, it was a little too late. We did enjoy the spa and had drinks next to the pool and relaxed in lounge chairs overlooking the ocean. I just would have wished that this property took a little more time to concentrate on the details and pay attention to birthdays because that was the whole reason for this trip.
