This is a truly unique opportunity and does not compare to a standard hotel. The Queen was launched in 1936 and thus you could not expect the rooms (cabins) to be equivalent to a land-based hotel. What it does offer, however, is the chance to go back in time to the days of leisurely transatlantic crossings- albeit without any chance of seasickness.

They were setting up for a large weekend event and the construction teams worked late and were quite loud even after they shut down the heavy equipment. Yelling, talking loud,chatting in an area were sound travels was no fun and unnecessary.

The property was great, the room however was very cold. Like you needed to wear a sweatshirt in the room. Qualify this by we are from Arizona, so we are use to hot weather and the cold hits. The staff were great, friendly, everything is clean and nice. But we froze. We were offered another room but did not take it as we had completely unpacked.

It was wonderful! The front desk girl was extremely patient and helpful when she had to fix Orbitz’s mistake in rescheduling my stay! Front desk girl was amazing! So thankful for her kindness and patience!

Everything about this property was awesome! It is my kind of hotel... I walked the halls and there was walking behind me... nobody was there... later there was knocking on the wall by me, again nobody was there. I loved I could shop and get meals and that I could easily access the carnival port the next day.
