The staff made my check-in smooth, even early checkin. I choose Embassy because of great breakfast choices. They haven’t failed me yet. Enjoyed the mangers special; the variety of snacks have “grown”- hummus and fresh veggies are excellent step up. Not to mention a free cocktail if you like. The views were awesome from the jr corner suite.

Upside. Nice breakfast. Great pool and hot tub. Reliable polite shuttle driver. Friendly front staff. Downside. Poor solo bartender is overwhelmed especially at happy hour. Omelet fellow on March 2nd could at least say please and thank you -- even if he's miserable; it's a requirement of the hospitality industry.

The room was not clean. So I cleaned my room myself. Also the tub water was not draining properly. This caused me to take a shower in a tub full of water which was really annoying. Upon arrival the staff did not tell me anything about my stay or amenities such as, I wasn’t told about breakfast, I was not told any of the information about parking. I wasn’t told when check out time was. The staff was only interested in making sure I paid for my stay and that was all. Other staff seemed very rude and did want to engage with me as a customer.

Unfortunately I was rather disappointed with my room. Our fridge was dripping on our food,so I didn't feel comfortable bringing anything back. The amenities advertised were unavailable including the pool and gaming system. There were stains on our curtains and the balcony was criminally labeled as such. We made the most of our stay, but I don't see me jumping at another booking.

We stayed two nights. The beds in our premium suite were just awful. They were so noisy when you rolled over and very uncomfortable. The advertised sofa bed had about a 4 inch pad to sleep on so you felt every bar in your back.The room was clean but overall pretty run down especially for the price. Would not stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and the front desk helped us with some places to have lunch. 0ur only complaint is that the hot tub/ whirlpool was not very hot even after running it 15 mins waiting to see if it would warm up. We would come back if we are visiting LA again. Lisa
