I stayed at this hotel for a two-day concert event in Pasadena. After a late night, I went to bed around 2:00 AM. Unfortunately, I was woken up around 8:00 AM by a very loud noise coming from the laundry room, which was located right next to my room. The sound of the machines shaking and running was extremely disruptive, and I was unable to go back to sleep.
I reported the issue to the front desk, but the response was disappointing. They simply apologized and mentioned that next time I should request not to be placed in that room. I expressed my concern that such rooms, located next to utility areas, should not be assigned to guests who expect a restful stay.
They then offered me a complimentary breakfast coupon; however, it was already 10:15 AM and breakfast ended at 10:30 AM. I declined, as I assumed only limited or leftover options would be available by then.I wish the hotel had taken my concerns more seriously and had considered offering a more thoughtful form of compensation in light of the inconvenience
