Las Casas Cuevas, offer a unique and different experience of peace and tranquillity to be enjoyed with family and friends.
Las Casas Cuevas is situated in the rural village of Los Curas, Ramonete, close to the famous beaches of the Puntas de Calnegre, cabo cope belonging to the historic city of Lorca.

To reach Las Casas Cuevas it is necessary to turn off the main road and to travel down a truly "campo camino" dirt track of approximately 1 kilometre. On reaching this destination you will realise the beauty, privacy, and sheer enjoyment a vacation here can hold.

Las Casas Cuevas consists of three individual cave houses, which are connected by a large 50sqm lounge at the front and have been beautifully restored, sleeping up to 8 people.

The caves remain at a constant temperature of around 18 degrees, cool in the summer, warm in the winter.
They are full of character with a unique ambience of tranquillity, decorated in a traditional, simple Spanish style.

There is a one bedroomed cave, with a double bed and lounge, sleeping two people.

A second cave with a double bed and lounge sleeping two people.

A third cave with two bedrooms one with two single beds, and another with a double bed and a window veiw, sleeping four people.
Each of the caves also have there own lounge areas.

Las Casas Cuevas are linked at the front by a large 50sqm lounge/dining area with log burner, a fully fitted kitchen, and three toilets /shower rooms.

Outside Las Casas Cuevas, is a 20sqm covered pergola with a large dinning table, seating up to twelve plus people. The area is surrounded by olive trees and plants. PLEASE RESPECT NATURE.

To the right of the cave houses is a gated patio area, with a 8X4sqm kidney shaped swimming pool.
(remove all suncream before entering)

The area also contains further seating areas.
Places to sun bath and relax. There are also outside cooking facilities - BBQ.
(please leave the BBQ area clean after use)

Beyond this is another covered pergola offering shade of 40sqm. This area also offers distant views of the beaches at the Puntas de Calnegre.

All the outside areas have been built with recycled, reclaimed materials where ever possible, and it is our goal to make Las Casas Cuevas as eco friendly as possible.

Set in a wonderful idyllic, very rural, tranquil location on the Costa Calida, Las Casa Cuevas offers and ideal environment for a relaxing holiday, but there are plenty of things to see and do.

The property owner Michael, will greet you when you arrive, answer your questions and help in anyway possible. Las Casas Cuevas is in the village of Ramonete, which has a medical centre, local shops and bars.
2 km away is the unspoilt natural coastline, with the beautiful beaches of Puntas de Calnegre and Playa Calnegre. here you well find further bars and restaurants literally on the beach.

The historic city of Lorca is a 30 minute drive away, also the Lorca beachside town of Aguilas.

Mazarron town, port and the beautiful fishing village of Bolnuevo are 20 minuate drive away.


We ask our guests to help us maintain the high level of cleanliness when here, for all

Arrival time: you will be able to occupy the Retreat after 3 pm on day of arrival
