This Wilde Hotel is an easy 5-minute walk from the Liverpool Street Railway and Tube stations. My wife and I arrived by rail and were able to easily walk to the hotel with our roller-bag luggage. The hotel and rooms are very modern with many amenities. The staff were super friendly and helpful! We did have one issue with our room: we could not adjust the temperature in the room. The thermostat appeared to be malfunctioning. A hotel staff member was able to get the A/C working from a control panel near the lobby, and set the thermostat for 21.5 degrees C., but the room temperature did not hold steady and appeared to be affected by the outside air temperature. The weather was unseasonalby warm on the day we arrived but turned cold and somewhat blustery our 2nd day. My guess is that the issue was specific to our room. Otherwise, the hotel was outstanding, including the very helpful staff! We would definitely stay there again if we were taking the train to the Liverpool Street station.

I'm want.to be objective in this review. I gave this place an overall 3 because while the hotel was very stylish, clean and very close to a couple of tube stations, but there were a few issues. 1. The bed(s). I stayed with my teenage son and I requested two twin beds which they said they could accommodate. However the bed is a king size bed that can be parted in the middle (it slides together or apart). It would have been totally fine if there was a lock to keep the bed separated, but those beds were constantly moving, sliding just from sitting down. It was highly annoying. I asked the staff about it and they were like, there's nothing that can be done. Which seems a bit bizarre because a piece of wood or a stopper would have made a difference but nobody wanted to be bothered. 2. The staff were pleasant but one lied to my face one night. I had gotten back from the theater and wanted a drink (it was 11:30), I was told the bar was closed but I could go to their pantry and buy a can of beer/wine. So I decided to do that. I went upstairs because I forgot my credit card so I could pay (it was a self serve situation) when I got back downstairs, the male staff person was behind the bar with some older women making drinks. He looked guilty when he saw me but I wasn't going to cause a scene 3. Also an issue with room cleaning. We stayed for 7 nights and was told it would cost 25£ to have our room fully cleaned one time. Ridiculous! 4. Washer/Dryer didn't right, took my money!

Top notch

Excellent short stay in this modern aparthotel. It’s only opened 8 months so it’s clean modern and extremely comfortable. Two minute walk from Liverpool st station so well served to use the tube to see London. Irish owned so nice to see the Irish touches and products in the rooms.
