What I liked: it was clean, smelled good and the beds and pillows were comfy. What I was frustrated with: I get this email saying something about check in with an App? Was I supposed to download an app from an App store? Then you click on “get my key” or something like that and then I am wondering is this some digital key on this mystery app? How do I get my “physical key” if that is what they mean, at 11pm? It’s late, we are exhausted and I am trying to check in on the screen in the lobby, which is just as complicated. A woman came out to the office and she was nice, but there was a communication breakdown between a language barrier. She handed us a key card and verbally told us the room number which isn’t helpful when you’re tired. I appreciate an envelope with the room number written on it so I don’t have to repeat the number for 10 minutes until I find my room in my head. Then she puts us in an elevator and tells us to go to that room, and that room didn’t exist. So then we had to go all the way back down and find her and she said she was sorry that it’s in the “other tower.” No bedside tables to put phone on or a glass of water, no chair to sit on with your street clothes, so I had to sit on the floor to do planning for my phone for the next day because I didn’t want to sit on my bed with dirty pants from riding the tube. The shower/bathroom doors are made of semi opaque glass- son could see my outline. Zero help with parking for rental car. Heard loud footsteps above.
