I did not like this place at all. Location is terrible. Washer was broken in the first apartment. Moved to another unit and then that apartment smelled like smoke. Washer smelled like mildew. No AC. Opened the windows and it was so loud outside at night that I could not sleep at all. Would never stay here again.

ABBA fantastic visit.

We had a fabulous time and the apartment was great. Only problem was no air conditioning and it was the hottest weekend of the year. But it was ok with windows open. Staff were fab. Would recommend as a cheaper alternative to hotel and great for that side of London.

The apartments were a really good size and clean. We had an issue with one of the rooms not being available due to a burst pipe and one person was relocated to another Marlin Apartment in Tower Hamlets.

Let’s start with the pros: the room we initially were given was dark and was without hot water. They were able to come fix the hot water quickly and after we requested they moved us to a nicer room with more light/windows. The initial room was also right on the street and the only window opened up to the street outside so that wasn’t going to be an option for safety and privacy reasons. I appreciated how quickly they came to fix the hot water and that they allowed us to switch rooms. The second room had more mirrors, the bedside tables were far more spacious, the bathroom was nice as it had windows, the fridge was full size, and it was great to have a kitchenette and utensils/cups etc. We also liked that we had to buzz in to get to the second room (more privacy). There is a Sainsbury’s and Two Magpies cafe on the corner which was super convenient Cons: The area is, in a word, bad. Expect graffiti, trash about + run down stores. A big reason we wanted to book at this property was the washer and dryer. Unfortunately the dryer doesn’t work. In both rooms we had issues and especially the second room the drying was just not an option. There are also no outlets in the bathrooms which meant we had to buy an extension cord in order to use a blow dryer/straightener. Just a note to foreign travelers and not a knock on the property at all- while it is close in miles to many site and attractions it is very far time wise. It usually took about 45 minutes to get anywhere of interest.

Great apartments

Excellent stay at Marlin apartments. Reception team were all very friendly and helpful. The apartment was much bigger than I anticipated which was a nice surprise! Nicely furnished it was great for my 2 night stay and I would definitely use Marlin again. 3 minute walk from Limehouse DLR, small Sainsburys across the road and Uber Eats will deliver to your door so all very convenient too.

Great apartment!

Great experience at the Marlin Apartments, only a short walk from Limehouse station. Friendly reception staff (Shan was wonderful!) and apartment was a really good size, clean and had everything that we needed. Only hiccup was not having sofa bed ready as we were a booking of 3 but quickly resolved at reception. Would definitely look to book here again if I was staying in London.

Mohammed keeps an excellent property. This place is affordable, clean, and just far enough from the center of town but close to train and bus stations. Perfect for traveling without a car. Tatiana keeps the place immaculate. I’d book again. I’ve booked twice.

The room was convient and resonably priced. My only comment would be that the room was very cold on arrival (as all the windows were open in winter) and there were no instructions for how to work the heater. But once i shut the windows and worked out the heater it was a pleasnt say.

I would definitely stay here again. A lot for your money. Super close to public transport. Just not the "prettiest" of neighborhoods. It mostly gets guests who are coming for shows at the venue across the street. Crossing the street is an advenutre in risk taking.
