I had a two night stay in Mama shelter Shoreditch and had the best time. My double room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed including lovely big towels, a powerful hairdryer and a king size bed that was comfortable and soft. The room was playfully decorated and appealing to be in, just like the rest of the hotel. The restaurant and bar were clean, comfortable and relaxing and the food menu had something for everyone, from small plates and salad through to burger and chips. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and willing to go the extra mile to meet your needs. Happily recommend Mama shelter, easy to get to from Bethnal Green Tube station and in an interesting part of east London.

Had a great time at mama shelter room was as described, clean and in a great location and easy to get to other parts of London. Only bother was the room felt really warm and stuffy in the morning despite leaving the window open

Fun and vibrant place to stay on a budget

Loved the vibe and friendly staff. Room was nice, loved the addition of a fridge and table. Also loved having a midday checkout and the location was ace - easy walk up to broadway market and lots of other nice places Downsides were rubbish pillows, poor pressure in the shower and noisy air conditioning, but overall would recommend.
