Springfield Antique show

The shower curtain was not long enough and the shower area not deep enough to keep water in the shower area. Water poured out the shower area as it was an accessible room. I had to mop up the entire bathroom as it was covered in water. Tiles were coming off the wall as it was not the first time this has happened. Also the bottom of the door is rotten from past water. I told the front desk last time in May this was happening but nothing has been done. Don't like that rates were increased for my event and the farmers event. Don't gouge farmers, they are the backbone of this country.

That Will Wake You Up!

It may seem like an odd thing to mention but the design of you bathrooms is poor. You have to step into a steady stream of cold water in the shower in order to turn it warmer and get it regulated. The breakfast bar is adequate but nothing to speak positively about.

Disgusting

Run Away!! 1st room was disgusting. Pulled bedsheets back to find something that looked like dried feces crusted to the sheets. We were switched to a new room which was definitely never cleaned other than fresh sheets. The shower was dirty, floor was not swept and bathroom was clearly never cleaned. Again, feces on the flip side of the toilet seat and dirt in the corners. Absolutely disgusting

Was okay. Bottom of tub was dirty looking and the floors/carpet needed to be cleaned. Bed was comfy and sheets were clean. Comfy bedding. Key card had to be reset, wasn’t working. Same with another guest’s room.

Certainly over priced and over rated. Probably artificially boosted rating. Worn out aisle carpet and room carpet. Bathroom sink was clogged on check-in ( Front office person came and fixed). Bathroom is the narrowest I ever had. Water had rust smell and taste. So didn’t take bath. Breakfast substandard. (Namesake breakfast but quality lacking for the $158/ per night charged. Don’t go by star rating. Expedia I trusted but I won’t go by their ratings. Overall a poor overnight stay. I have stayed at much better hotels on highway side at much cheaper price.

Holiday Inn seriously needs to review whom they grant licenses to operate. We were given a substandard room that was supposed to be disabled-friendly but turned out to be quite the opposite. Imagine having a shower with no tap—just a direct stream—making it impossible to test whether the water is hot or cold. If you’re traveling with kids, definitely avoid this room. While I was checking in, the front desk staff was already being scolded over the phone by another guest because their TV wasn’t working. The hotel only serves a cold breakfast—mostly sugary cereals. Imagine starting your day with a sugar burst. If their kitchen equipment isn’t working, the least they could do is serve something basic like boiled eggs. But even that wasn’t available. Overall, a waste of money. You’re better off paying a little more to stay somewhere closer to Columbus with better facilities.
