Great hotel in a very nice part of London.

We enjoyed every single day that we were at the Harrington Hall Hotel. There were many good shops and restaurants a few minutes away, and it was very easy to get to the other parts of London, either by bus or the Underground. We did lots of exploring in the six days that we were there, and we felt very fortunate to have found such a nice hotel.

Older but good

It was a very nice hotel, but as it was older, it had a few flaws. The air conditioning system made a lot of noise, whether it was on or not and the water temperature wasn't always easy to control. Otherwise though, the room was clean and spacious and the front desk was helpful.

Lovely city break

Very nice hotel. At first they didn't have our reservation and after phoning Hotels.com website they had to make a new booking - and for the trouble they upgraded out room free of charge from a standard to executive suite. Great customer service. Room was large and comfortable. Although the bathroom was relatively small.

It's very easy to go to the central and the area is safe. I've stayed for two weeks, so I needed a reasonable price and conveniently environment. I could get both.(early bird price) The room was quite large and comfortable even though it was the smallest room. I could feel at home. Especially the towel rack in the bathroom was wonderful. It has the heating function. Warm and quick drying! Two cons.. the minibar, it's not a fridge, it's just for a wine. Not cold enough for a drink. If your neighbor checked-out early in the morning, you need to wake up for the vacuum noise. :) and sometimes you can hear the neighbor's TV sound.

Great hotel near the tube

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The hotel was in a quiet neighborhood one block from a tube station. We were within walking distance of the Royal Albert Hall. Access to every London location was simple with the tube so close by. We had all the benefits of being in the middle of everything London had to offer while staying in a quiet hotel. The staff was wonderful, and very patient with first-time visitors to London. We want to go back and would definitely want to stay at Harrington Hall again.

This hotel is located at a very convenient spot

The hotel is close to several museums. It is a 15 minute walk to Harrods and other shops. The Gloucester underground is only 2 minutes walk from its doorstep where we took the subway train to Victoria station to watch a broadway show. This too was only 3 stops away. The room was cosy and the staff were excellent.

Nice Hotel, Excellent Location

We stayed at Harrington Hall for 4 nights in mid September. Overall we were very satisfied with the hotel. The staff were very courteous and helpful. They helped us print our boarding passes for our flight home without a charge. They gave us information on the which tube stops to use for various sights. They always greeted us when we entered. The hotel is very conveniently located, only about a block to the Gloucester Road Tube Station and a few blocks to the South Kensington Tube Station (direct access to Heathrow Airport). Good location for visiting Kensington Palace/Gardens, Hyde Park, Victoria Albert Museum, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Albert Memorial, Harrods. Grocery store and restaurants within a 1-2 block radius. Nice neighborhood feels very safe.

Good location, however when I arrived the room was very warm and when I asked about the AC, a hotel clerk said it was working, but it was not. I did get a facilities person to turn it on the second evening. The lamps on the bed stands weren't working, so my room was changed on request. The hair dryer in my second room wasn't working. I found the staff friendly and basically helpful.

Great hotel close to Tube and local amenities

I wanted a hotel within a short walking distance of the London Tube. This was perfect - 2 minute walk. We could get to where ever we wanted in a short time and even come back to the hotel for a rest and quick change before going out again to a show at night. We felt very safe in the area. There were plenty of shops and cafés close.

spacious,clean and close to Gloucester Road tube

First trip to London I was a little afraid of getting a small moldy room, which was a lot of what I was seeing in my budget. Fortunately I found a great bundle deal on Expedia for the hotel and Flight. My mother and I stayed in a wonderfully spacious room for 10 nights with free Wi-Fi. We had two good size twin size beds and a big bathroom with tub/shower. The room was clean and modern, everything from the furniture to the bathroom fixtures. We found the staff very helpful and very friendly, they greeted us ever day leaving and coming back to the hotel. For a day trip to Liverpool we needed to catch the train at 5:30am. The hotel staff arranged a car to pick us up at 4:30am with no issue and at a great price.

Nice hotel close to the tube

This hotel was a great deal through expedia. The location was great for the price. The tube station was close and had a large grocery store above it. The only negative was (this is always possible) that our upstairs neighbor was quite loud. It sounded as if he/she was doing aerobics for thirty minutes which is possible but it was close to midnight. To be fair we didn't log a complaint with the hotel staff. Overall it was great!
