This is a nice little hotel near Kinsington Park and Paddington station. Our room ceiling had extensive water damaged that was poorly repaired. The bathroom was extremely small to the point that most Americans would be too large to use it. The hotel had a very limit breakfast, but good enough. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great location and staff

Extremely friendly and courteous staff, who helped our family of 3 get into a room early after an overnight flight into Heathrow. The location is excellent, just a few blocks from Paddington station, but on a quiet street. The complementary breakfast is quite good - full English or cereal. The room itself was a bit small, but very clean and in good shape, with a small fridge, kettle for heating water, and tea/coffee. Beds were firm, which is how we like them. Overall a great value, and i would definitely stay again.

Better than espected

Rooms are being done up gradually, so may look unfinished, but perfectly adequate and useable. There is no lift, but reception staff are happy to help with luggage. Breakfast is good - the usual continental buffet, with full English available, and sent up from the kitchen to order, so is piping hot - no rubbery scrambled egg or dried up bacon. The lady working in the breakfast room is an absolute treasure, so helpful and obliging. I'd give her 12 out of 10!!

Great little hotel , rooms are small but nice and clean , good breakfast and great service from the staff especially from Kev on reception who is a legend Bit noisy at night from the main road but hey , it’s London! Yes it would be nice to have a lift but there isn’t the room for one so be aware you will have to jump your luggage up a few stairs All in all, at the price you can’t complain !

Don’t stay

Place has nice breakfast and staff is friendly. That’s about it. We paid for double room which is located at lower level but we got the top floor. Hotel has no ac and it is not advertised . We were stuck with fan and it was hot. Bathroom is so tiny and not superbly clean.

Average hotel. Not for anyone with mobility issues

The hotel room was at the top of six flights of narrow stairs. The en-suite bathroom had one of the smallest showers I have ever seen. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was haphazard - constantly had to ask for more cutlery, milk, coffee, etc. Staff were friendly.

We stayed during a heatwave and requested a fan for our room. This was delivered to our room promptly. Breakfast was a shambles, the lady serving delivered one breakfast to our table of four then delivered the other three to a different table. Blaming the kitchen staff for her mistake. Overall we payed a good price for a clean central hotel.

Night away..

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to Hyde Park as we were meant to go to a concert which was unfortunately cancelled. The location to Hyde Park was very good. Our room was near the top of this very old house so it was a workout!!.The room was so hot,a fan was provided but just circulated warm air around!! I wasnt impressed with the breakfast unless you like a cooked breakfast which i dont, there was mediocre cereal, not even yogurt.Overall our stay was ok,location was good

Cute English hotel

I loved how authentic and English the hotel felt. It was super cozy and I felt safe in the area. It was walkable to most anything (including Big Ben, London Eye, etc if you are okay walking a couple miles). The rooms were tight but completely manageable. The bathroom and specifically the shower was really small but again manageable. The Juliet balcony was a nice touch!

Close to Paddington station, Hyde Park and lots of eating options. Good breakfast, comfortable bed, and friendly staff, but had to ask twice for soap. Also an extremly small bathroom with nowhere to hang towels, and a leaking shower hose that wet the whole bathroom. Dated decore throughout, very limited space for luggage.

Great location close to all amenities, transport, restaurants, city centre and parks, etc. The room was nicely presented and the reception staff made sure our stay was comfortable and easy. We were given a room on a suitable floor, taking into account the amount of uggage we had. The reception staff ensured also that our luggage was stored safely prior to checkin. The professionalism and oersonalisation displayed was comparable to a 5 star Hotel anywhere. The Room was nicely presented, comfortable, clean and a good sized window and with all amenities. My main reason to stay here was because of the Hotel being so close to the City Centre, but a little away for peace and quiet as well. The Breakfast was nicely cooked to order and with a variety of breads and cereal as well.

Hotel is very central and near to get tubes to everywhere you need to get Only downside was that we were in room 16 which was on top floor which had 72 steps to climb which was not great if you have a young child. Breakfast was lovely and the lady serving was really helpful

I had a pleasant stay at the Admiral Hotel in London. It’s a nice, budget-friendly place with very friendly staff and a great location—just a short walk to Paddington Station. The area feels safe and has plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, which was super convenient. The internet connection was strong, and I appreciated the simple breakfast provided each morning. The only downsides were that there’s no lift, which might be tough for elderly guests or anyone with knee issues, and the bathroom was very small—though it was clean. There’s also no official fire exit, but the balcony could be used in an emergency. Overall, it’s a decent hotel that offers good value for money. I’d stay here again for a short, budget-conscious trip.
