The room itself was clean and the staff was great. Unfortunately the first room we were given had a strong smell, like paint thinner. So we asked for a second, and the second room was worse except this time it was a sewage smell. We suspect now that the first room had a similar smell, but they tried to cover it up with something. The smell in the second room was so bad the room cleaner acknowledged it on entry the next morning. But it was 11pm and we decided not to ask for a third room, but the sleep was terrible because of the stench.

The restaurant was excellent for both our evening meal and breakfast, however although the service was good I disliked the 15% service fee applied. Although the norm for the US, it is certainly not

Superb.

Such a warm and welcoming hotel. Staff from the doormen, to the front desk and house keepers were all lovely. Rooms were immaculate and well kept. The hotel sent us a bottle of bubbly and a dessert for my birthday. The location can’t be beat. Rooms were also so quiet. Quite a bit larger and more spacious than I expected as well.

The hotel is escellent and well located. Staff is nice, property is sustainable and looks sleek and modern. Confortable bed, great mini bar. Only reason I would NOT stay again is privacy in the bathroom - there is a glass to the room that exposes the WC and the closure is a curtain on the outside of the bathroom only. Even with my GF it is awkward.
