Cabaña de madera junto al lago

Nuestra cabaña está ubicada en el lago Thurmond, que es el lago artificial más grande al este del Mississippi. Es una excelente ubicación para una escapada de fin de semana o vacaciones. Además del lago, tenemos 50 millas de senderos para caminatas y ciclismo, 3 campos de golf junto al lago, excelente pesca y caza. Esta área es adecuada durante todo el año. El verano tiene la ventaja de tener agua tibia en el lago para practicar deportes acuáticos, pero las otras estaciones tienen la ventaja de temperaturas agradables para todas las demás actividades.

Si tiene un bote, puede lanzarlo a solo unas cuadras de la cabina y atracarlo en nuestro muelle cubierto. Si no tiene un barco, el cercano Savannah Lakes Marina alquila nuevos modelos de pontones de 24 '.

La cabaña es una hermosa cabaña de troncos de dos pisos en un entorno natural que se encuentra a 300 pies de la costa. Es de 1500 pies cuadrados, con 3 dormitorios y 2 baños equipados con todas las comodidades. También tiene una gran cubierta envolvente, una bañera de hidromasaje para 6 hombres integrada en la cubierta y una vista que se extiende sobre varios kilómetros de lago.

Los privilegios de golf están disponibles para varios campos de golf cercanos, la pesca dentro de media milla de la cabina es excepcional y hay un nuevo sendero de 50 millas de largo para caminatas, ciclismo y kayak a solo unas pocas millas de distancia. Ya sea que esté buscando deportes acuáticos, golf, un excelente lugar para largas caminatas o paseos en bicicleta, o simplemente un hermoso entorno para relajarse y disfrutar, este es un excelente lugar para pasar una semana o un fin de semana. Y para los fanáticos de Masters, la cabina está a unos 40 minutos en automóvil del Masters Golf Tournament en Augusta, GA.


Tenga en cuenta al hacer la reserva de esta cabaña que está ubicada en un vecindario residencial tranquilo en el lago y no es adecuada para grupos de más de 8 a 10 personas. Por ejemplo, una reunión de clase o reunión familiar sería inapropiada. Hay numerosos parques estatales cercanos adecuados para tales reuniones.

Great Lakeside Getaway

We were very impressed with the beautiful wraparound porch and spent most of our time there overlooking the lake. Beautiful property that was even prettier than advertised. Great to have ready access to our boat with the private dock. Five stars all around!

Cutest little cabin

Loved our stay here! Super cute wood cabin. We spent all of our time on the spacious back porch area. Very relaxing and plenty of parking. The dock was the best and perfect for our parking our large pontoon boat. The owner was very responsive via text. Plenty of plates, cups, cookingware and left over spices/coffees from previous guests.

Most Favorite Family Vacation Spot

This was the second year our group of 4 senior golfers has stayed here while golfing at local courses and attending The Masters. Our experience was great again. Nice rustic cabin with everything we needed. Hopefully, we can do it again next year. I really wish the owner would replace the upstairs futon with a single bed though! Thanks!

Will definitely return!

We absolutely loved this property. My family brought our boat and jet skis for my daughter's 21st birthday and had the best time. The porch is absolutely fantastic. It had beautiful outdoor furniture, high velocity fans and plenty of seating for everyone. We were only inside to sleep. The beds were nice with good sheets, which is always important to me. My family used the dock to swim and fish off of. It was big enough to put a 21ft bay boat and 2, 3 seater jet skis at and still have room for the little ones to jump off of while we laid out in our floats. This is deep water at the end of the dock and the boat ramp was super close. There was a grocery store, dollar general and convenient store close by so we were able to get things we ran out of or needed. We had no issues with directions or checkin/out. We cleaned up and left the property exactly how we found it so that it will be available for our future trips because we will definitely be back. Me, my husband, our kids, and grandkids enjoyed this place better than any of the others that we have stayed at in the last 5 years. You can tell the owners are investigating a lot of upgrades in this property and I hope that others take care of it so that it's available for my family year after year.

Awesome cabin on the lake

Cabin is comfortable and well equipped. Location on the lake is absolutely perfect. The dock is new and great for the boat and all of the water toys as well as swimming. But the highlight is definitely the spacious porch with the really nice furniture. We spent most of the time there when not on the water and the fans made it remarkably cool despite the heat. We definitely hope to return soon.

Owners of the property are super helpful and accommodating. The porch and dock was amazing! We had our boat but much prefered to hang out on the dock and swim. Only downfall was cameras on the property so we felt like we were being watched all the time.

Loved the deck and dock. The cleaning crew can do a better job. The refrigerator drawers were completely filled with condiments. Didn’t know if we were supposed to use them or not. The pictures on the website weren’t exactly correct.

Yearly Family lake trip

The location of this property for us is great. It’s close to Savannah lakes, Elijah Clark and Soap creek. The back porch is probably our favorite part. We actually thought about sleeping there a couple nights. Great Place!!

Great Outdoor Deck

A cool day and a rainy day were just as great as the sunny day thanks to the outdoor living space on the deck. The patio fire pit on the huge covered deck allowed grilling and peaceful views of the lake. The kitchen was small but not a problem for our 3 night stay. Check in/check out was easy. We also loved the dock. We used the neighborhood ramp to unload but the nearby Elijah Clark State Park ramp to load.

Wonderful time spent on the lake

This is our 2nd stay at this home and the owners continue to make fabulous upgrades to the property. The new deck was amazing. Clean and comfortable home, close to several boat ramps. New dock is great! Our family has enjoyed both of our stays here and look forward to returning again soon.

Masters Trip

Visited for Masters week for a guys trip. The property is absolutely gorgeous with a wonderful covered deck/patio overlooking the lake. We cooked on the griddle and grill and enjoyed spending time outside on the deck. Fishing from the dock was great as well and the two golf courses we played were nearby. It was an easy 50 minute drive to Augusta National. We hope to be back soon.

Fantastic Cozy Cabin

My family couldn't have been happier when arriving at the cabin! We had cold weather during our Christmas stay, which made it feel more like Christmas!! The cabin was warm and cozy, very comfortable beds, and a stocked kitchen. The deck was very large - on our next visit, we will utilize this space more. We did cook out on the gas grill many times. We went fishing from the dock and managed to catch a fish! We are already starting to talk about planning our next visit - we will definitely be back! The color of the sky at sunset was very beautiful! Our fur babies had a great time too...oh..and we saw a deer! We thank you for sharing your cabin - we hated to leave!
