1 night at the OYO

Hotel in a lovely, quiet, rural location. Deceptive from the outside as it doesn’t carry the OYO branding, nor does it look refurbished. But, inside it is newly decorated and comfortable. Rooms can with a coffee machine, costs pods and biscuits. Breakfast looked ok, be we didn’t partake. We stayed in room 9. The only downside was the drains smell coming from the shower.

The owner/manager called the morning of our booking and told me the boiler had broken and they were going to have to cancel our stay. I am still awaiting my refund 10 days later and they are not answering calls to property or mobile numbers provided!! Terrible customer service!

I was travelling my motorbike and they very kindly let me park in an enclosed yard at the back. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the public areas and the room were clean and modern. Food in the evening was good and great value, the bar had a good atmosphere with locals and guests. Room included a nice continental breakfast. I would happily stay here again.

It’s a lovely little hotel. Nice restaurant, excellent staff and great value. Local scenery is stunning. Rooms large and very well appointed. Access to the village was by a steep and narrow road which might limit some vehicles.
