Good value downtown Livorno

Great value for money right downtown Livorno. Helpful and friendly staff. Reasonable breakfast included with helpful service. Lack of drawer space or shelves. No elevator so needed help with suitcases, which was freely given. Also there was a step up into the bathroom, so a trip hazard in the night. Overall we were very satisfied and chose to stay again on a return visit. Recommendation: try the Cafe Duomo for dinner, just a short block away.

Good budget hotel.

As a place to stay for one night - we were in Livorno for a concert - it was fine. Good location for shops, cafes and markets. 2 great cheese shops nearby. Entry lobby does not give a good impression with clutter & untidiness but rest of hotel is ok. Room was clean & modern and comfortable, but noise from hard floors/rooms upstairs made it difficult for a rest before going out. It was ok at night though. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Good price and to have breakfast included was a bonus. Minor annoyance was being locked out of hotel in late afternoon for an hour. We never received an explanation.

Very good for the price

Hotel Citta is a fine place to stay in Livorno. Close to the port, close to the shops and market, and in a nice building with large rooms, wide staircases, and friendly staff. The mattress sagged tremendously, but that would be our only complaint. The Wifi was surprisingly good, with a router right outside our door in Room 109. It's a very good value for the money.

great basic hotel good location

Great hotel, easy to find, we only stayed in livorno for one night, not much in livorno itself but easy access to other destinations by bus and train, room was very clean, staff friendly, breakfast was nice, fast wifi, and extremely pleased with how honest and helpful the staff were. I left my designer sunglasses when I rang up they could have easily denied finding them but they were honest and even posted them out to england for me. Very grateful. would stay again

A welcoming and friendly hotel

We spent two nights at the Citta Hotel in Genoa. The location is great, the room was spacious and clean and we loved the family atmosphere in the hotel. We felt very welcome and comfortable there. I recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Livorno.

Booked this hotel as we had a very early ferry next morning. Check-in and our was friendly, but came with some surprise charges which we could pay for with credit card. Would not recommend this for other families.

Séjour très agréable

Hotel familial avec un personnel très sympathique et très serviable. Chambre propre. L hôtel est situé à quelques centaines de mètres de l artère commerçante, très pratique,et de plus à proximité de la gare et du ferry.
