Everything about the property was excellent. We really enjoyed the staff and their helpfulness, they went out of their way to make our stay special. We highly recommend the property and would visit them again if ever in the area. Our room is extremely large with huge sitting area. The bathroom was a bit small relative to the room size but nothing to complain about. The breakfast was phenomenal and delivered promptly each morning. The rooms are 3 flights up without a lift, but the staff handled out luggage. So it's not a problem unless you have mobility problems.

Everything was exceptional. The room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was delivered to our room every morning. We were able to open the windows for fresh air. A special thanks to Miguel, Sakib and Januka who made our stay perfect. We highly recommend the Palace Chiado and we will definitely return.

I had a great one night stay at the Dear Lisbon - Palace Chiado Suites. This is not a hotel to book if you have trouble with stairs, but they do everything possible to make it as easy as possible, including moving your luggage for you promptly. Super friendly staff, unique accommodation and great breakfast delivered to your room. I would highly recommend!

Wonderful location for restaurants, shopping and walking to various must see area. Also close to metro and train. However our room (deluxe suite), thuogh generous in size need at a minimum a coat of paint - wall and doors were chipped and dirty. Our room doors did not seal properly so hallway light was constant all night long. Windows and shutters appear to be original and do not filter out any noise. We could hear people talking late at night, and then there were was garbage pick up 2x in 4 nights, in the middle of the night. There is also a private club in the same building tht holds events - we could hear these as well and were told nothing coukd be done. Understandably this is a older building, but these are things that could be fixed to sone degree. Our room was to have a 'city view' - our view was the building (windows) across the narrow street - which also forced us to lose the shutters for privacy.

We had room 2, which was oversized and absolutely beautiful with a king bed but unfortunately the second day the air conditioner became faulty and we were moved to room 8. This was also a lovely room but it was half the size and had a queen bed, it did however have an incredible view of the city. The staff were lovely and it was in a great location.

EASILY the best stay on our Europe Trip Honeymoon! I am sad I can’t give it more than 5 stars!!! This hotel is the most accommodating that we have gone to on our honeymoon (4 countries visited) & it was so affordable! The cost of in suite snacks/drinks, transportation etc through the hotel was so helpful and affordable. Plus the staff were so nice and really made it feel like a special experience. The only downsides was that the street can be loud, but that is just because we were in the heart of Lisbon and that came with the location so it did not bother us at all. Never rlly heard our neighbors (in the building) so it was quiet inside. The atmosphere in the building and the room felt very historical which gave it a unique edge over other places we looked at staying, but it is even more beautiful in person. Huge room & bathroom & the WINDOWS!!! Huge with a cool view of the street. Ok. Now let’s talk breakfast: made us feel like Kings. Idk if for other people getting breakfast brought to your room is nbd, but for US this was royalty status behavior. Food was so good and they brought it us on a cart and it felt like a movie!!! Plus they changed it up everyday so we weren’t just eating the same thing all the time. Ultimately, this is one place you HAVE to stay at in Lisbon. Dear Lisbon made our trip to Portugal 💯/10 and I will be telling everyone about this experience forever (bc it’s our honeymoon ofc!!).

The hotel is an old palace (2nd floor only). Very accommodating staff. brought breakfast the night before when we had Ealy tours. They keep our bags from early in the morning to after returning from a tour (late afternoon). Location is in the Old Town and walkable to most of the sites in Lisbon.
