Host the as very responsive to all our needs. Place us very quiet, great for a restful sleep after a day of sightseeing. Conveniently located, 10 min walk to the river and the museums. Many great restaurants within walking distance. Also ample parking if you are driving. Important note that Bedroom with double bed and 2 single beds are in the attic space via a steep staircase. Not ideal if you have young children or have mobility issues. We had a wonderful restful stay.

Our short stay in Casa do Mapa, Belem, Lisboa

We enjoyed very much the comfort and space offered in casa do mapa. Kitchen, living room and bedrooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and well decorated. We also were very thankful for the cleaness of the apartment. Moreover, the kitchen is equiped with all necessary tools and we were very much grateful for the supply in spices, oil, vinegar and even sugar and coffee, so we did not need to buy large amounts for just three days. The bathroom is specially well. Shower is clean, warm and powerful. Belem is a beautiful place to stay and we, of course enjoyed lots of pasteis de nata. Transportation to the city was complicated though. Difficult was also to understand what type of card to buy, there are only machines, which do not explain very well what ticket to buy and to go to different places. We were also stressed with the lock system used in both doors, since they can only be opened if one has a cell phone. We were constantly worried and saving energy in the cell phones to be able to open the doors. I understand that for hosts it is a lot of work to keep a personal contact to guests, however, I always appreciate knowing the hosts personally, since just then you really can ask questions more spontaneously. The impersonal way of communication does not fit to the quality and care invested in the apartment. Nevertheless, we can strongly recommend this stablishment for people who like a rather quiet area and provided with a car.

Foi apenas eu nesta estadia e adorei! A localização era perfeita, conseguia andar para apanhar o autocarro, metro e comboio tudo bem sem chatices. A Joana estava sempre pronta para responder as minhas perguntas a qual quer hora. A casa estava limpa e tudo funciona muito bem. Adorei mesmo! Vou voltar.
