You can't go wrong with the Arciduca! The place feels like your own personal villa in the heart of Lipari. Great lunch and dining options! The rooms are convenient and beautiful. Service is outstanding. Highly recommended.

Room for 2 adults was way too small!

The room was extremely small- so small that every time I got out of bed I banged my leg either against the wall or the bed frame! The bed mattress was also extremely hard so hard I did not sleep. In addition, there was no hair conditioner nor body lotion in the bathroom.

Excellent location!

This location of Grand Hotel Arciduca cannot be beat! A few minutes walk to Marina Corta or to Corso Vittorio Emanuele. A big lobby and dining area, a very refreshing pool which was much needed after walking in the heat! My room was very nice and clean, but for me was too dark in the decor. Very nice bathroom. Staff was helpful. I highly recommend for the perfect location and the pool. I'm glad I picked it. Ask for room with terrace overlooking the pool.

Lipari Stay

The hotel has a van that picks you up from the ferry and takes you to the hotel. (Arrange with hotel before ferry departs). The hotel was farther from the center of town than I thought, but we still were able to walk to all the sights. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have a limited menu at the restaurant, but the food was well prepared. Breakfast was quite extensive and good.

This is not 4 star hotel

There`s no way this is 4 Star Hotel,maybe 3 ,but never more than that. They advertised free Wi-Fi, but we didn`t have Internet for 3 day and was told every time they knew about the problem but technician will come only Monday because of the weekend.No iron in the room,what is wrong with Italian hotels,they never have irons in the rooms.TV is old,very few programs,doesn`t work well.They charge fore a cap of coffee or even tea. Restaurant menu very poor,fish wasn`t cooked properly. Front desk person wasn`t help at all, specially one of them. Shower curtains was too short, shower didn`t work properly. We had to cancel one night because of the transportation problems to get to Catania airport and they didn`t return the money for that night,but front desk girl didn`t forget to tell us to get out of the room before 10 am. Overall rating of this Hotel will be fair in maximum.

La pulizia lascia a desiderare, sotto il letto non si spazzava da molto tempo, c’era polvere e piccoli oggetti probabilmente caduti ad altri ospiti. Inoltre la colazione offriva varietà solo di alimenti dolci, anguria e melone era l’unica frutta fresca poi frutta sciroppata, oltre alle uova c’era formaggio e prosciutto cotto da toast e mortadella. Per caffè e cappuccino bisognava fare la fila al distributore automatico. Deludente.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per 3 giorni con la mia famiglia. Una struttura molto comfortevole e ottima dal punto di vista dei servizi offerti al cliente, tra cui anche una navetta privata per recarsi in spiaggia.
