This recently renovated turn-of-the-century carriage house is located just a few minutes from both the I-75 exit and the Hamburg area of Lexington: quick, easy interstate access but in a country setting! Downtown Lexington is just 12-15 minutes drive. The apartment is very cozy, featuring a deck and large yard on filled with trees and flowers. There is a comfortable futon as a 2nd bed. Come as a quick stop off the interstate or as a weekend getaway from the city, we look forward to hosting you!

Rough stay
Host was very nice and responsive but we had a few issues
-overall low cleanliness level, dirty in places and didn’t seem like it was cleaned before hand
-multiple large spiders found
-dog/animal poop around the door
-1 roll of toilet paper
Outside of their control at this point, but it was not clear on the listing how small everything was. The shower head was so low, for anyone taller than like 5’8 it would be an issue. We were 3 men in our mid 20’s , so we navigated around these issues but for families or people that require a higher level of stay these issues could be big.

Day 1 i called and reported insteady bed , it moves about 8 inches from side to side
No lighted walkway
Patio never wasn't clean of debris

Our Stay at Edith Carriage House
It was satisfactory. We did not like having to climb stairs to the bedroom. That also meant we had to go downstairs to the bathroom. The property was also in need of some repair. It was cozy, and adequate for our needs, so we didn't mind some inconvenience.
