Everything was wonderful. The view at the top was breathtaking and the windows and light are refreshing. The home was meticulously cared for and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed for our stay. Way better than any hotel. I’d love to visit again.

Perfect weekend getaway

This is the second time we have stayed on this property and would recommend this cabin as well as the yurt. Accommodations are comfortable, clean and in a picturesque setting close to Lexington and other nearby destinations. April is an amazing host and the baked goods and fresh eggs to order are out of this world. My family had a wonderful relaxing weekend and we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Weekend

My husband, daughter and myself had a wonderful visit to Stillhouse Farm. The house was just as listed, but the view was even better. Kitchen had everything we needed. Enjoyed eating breakfast out on the porch. Would love to stay here again.

Stunning views - gorgeous cabin

Our stay at the Cabin Retreat on Stillhouse Farm was simply perfect. The cabin is new and beautifully designed and decorated. It is incredibly clean with all the amenities you could need. The sunset view was spectacular from the rocking chairs on the deck. It was such a relaxing stay, and we would love to visit again soon. We highly recommended ordering scones from April which are delivered right to the outdoor table in the morning.

Overnight Mountain Stop

This was a beautiful cabin with a relaxing modern interior! Our family stopped for the night on the way to the beach, and it was perfect for us. We enjoyed the gorgeous sunset, which was a wonderful view as the cabin is seated atop the hill. We will definitely bookmark this stay and highly recommend!

Fantastic Location

Would definitely stay here again. The house was clean, everything we needed and the location was perfect: close to Lexington, beautiful mountain views, awesome birding - saw several warblers including an Indigo Bunting

Heaven in the Hill!

We had an absolutely lovely stay while visiting Washington & Lee with our son. The cabin is immaculate and beautifully decorated Scandinavian style. And the view is priceless. Can not wait to come back for another stay and hope to get the host’s homemade blueberry scones delivers right to the porch next time. 👍❤️

Peace!

My wife, daughter, and me had just left a track meet at VMI. Then we came to the cabin. It was so peaceful and needed after a long day of track and field. The mountains are so peaceful and thank God we found this little cabin.

Private Beauty

Our family recently stayed at Stillhouse Farms’ Retreat Cabin while moving our son into college. Everything was perfectly appointed, with no detail left unattended. The private hilltop views were stunning which included a special wildlife bonus doe & her two fawns. What an exceptional gem! We will definitely be back!

Cabin Retreat in Lexington

Terrific place! Cabin is beautiful and very well thought out. Our kids stayed up in the loft and wife and I stayed downstairs. Very comfortable beds / furniture. Amazing views from both front and side porches. Tons of great family activities that were close by….we hit Natural Bridge / Zoo / dinosaur park (super weird yet tons of fun) / downtown Lexington / and of course the awesome Caverns. We also took a walk through downtown Lexington. After all the activities we’d make the short 10 min drive back to the farm and relax on the porch. Unbelievable sunsets and all you hear are birds and crickets while the lightening bugs begin. Owner is super kind and responsive. Would highly Reccomend for sure…great for family but also could be a romantic getaway spot as well as it is so secluded and scenery is absolutely beautiful.
