Lovely Relaxed & Friendly Vibe.

Birthday getaway which was very relaxed at The Station House Hotel. Great location for easy walk into the Main Street and handy for Ballymacool Park, which is on the same side of town. The room was spacious and clean. Music from the function room kept my daughter awake, but it didn't disrupt my sleep either of the two nights we stayed. Perhaps something to consider if you're a light sleeper.

Trip to Donegal

Spent 3 Nights in room 203 on a B&B Basis. Room was very clean and serviced daily. No Air Con only a heat thermostat and even when turned off room was still very warm. We had to open windows at night and there was a lot of street traffic. We had dinner on 2 evenings and menu had a decent choice and food was high quality.

We stayed 3 nights. The location is about a 17 minute walk from the bus station. Take Pearse Street, there is less of an incline. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean with plenty of shelf space, nice towels and spacious shower area. The drain was a little sluggish but it did work. We liked the big windows as they made the room more airy & bright. If you keep the windows closed at night, it reduces the traffic noise. The on-site restaurant was also good. The fresh fish special of the day was quite tasty & the batter was cooked to near perfection. We enjoyed the live performance of Irish music one evening. It was lovely. All the staff we interacted with were quite friendly and helpful.

This property owner and staff could not have been more welcoming and accomodating, helpful and resourceful. Ample GF and DF offerings on their menu and bar. Live American music on Wednesday. Highly recommend.

Lack of fruit.

The Station house is always very clean with friendly helpful staff. There is usually entertainment and it is a good place to eat. I was a bit disappointed however with the choice of fruit at breakfast everything at breakfast was fine but they need to provide a bigger and better choice of fruit.

Fabulous central stay

The hotel was absolutely spotless throughout. My room was comfortable and had all required facilities however It was noisy from outside traffic. The breakfast and dinner in the hotel was exceptional. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

We stayed here two nights while in Letterkenny. We were extremely pleased with our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and was good. Some hot items (eggs, sausages, hash browns, bacon). They have a parking lot in the back and we had no problems finding a space. Great location, you can walk to most of the restaurants. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

We had a very dirty bathroom upon arrival. Then our card to open our door would t work. All night you could hear people from the bottom floors screaming and being extra loud. In the am the cleaners would slam doors over and over and to top it off tried to come into our room way before check out time. Don’t know how this place got so many awards. I would stay away from here
