Everything stood out—the great views, excellent amenities, large rooms, a very comfortable bed, and how clean everything was. The host was fantastic and very quick to reply to emails, which made the stay smooth and stress-free. This stay came highly recommended by a family friend, and it absolutely lived up to it. 5/5 — would definitely recommend and rebook.

Charlevoix is a must see

We thoroughly enjoyed our Charlevoix vacation, and our house in the hills! views of St. Lawrence River, stunning. We lucked, perfect weather, leaves were changing already. hikes and drives so enjoyable - recommend L'isle-aux-Courdes (walk at the eastern tip), Le Massif (take gondola and hike at the top of the mountain), La Malbaie (walk at the Manoir Richelieu), and Les Eboulements (the hike around the corner from rental). Returning to Mario's house was such a treat, watching the sun set and making meals in the beautiful kitchen, well stocked with all the supplies you will ever need to make your meals. I marvel when rentals have good sharp knives! a minor suggestion, the carpet leading coming in to the house from the hot tub could have used a sweeping.

Sehr schön gelegenes Panoramahaus mit Blick auf den Strom und die Insel mittendrin. Je nach Wetterlage kann man weit gucken, aber es sind auch ein paar hohe Bäume hier und da davor, also kein komplett freier 180 Graf Blick. Schön ruhig gelegen, aber doch Supermärkte und Restaurants in Baie St. Paul oder Les Emboulements. Baie St. Paul (15 min) hat einen Strand (auf Ebbe achten) und ist ein hübscher Küstenort mit Gallerien und Restaurants. Für uns war das Haus eine gute Station zu den Nationalparks und Walfahrten und so haben wir morgens und abends den schönen Blick auf den Fluss genossen. Das Haus ist gemütlich und ansprechend eingerichtet mit Whirlpool und Feuerstelle und bietet viel Platz. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Trois semaines mémorables

Nous avons passé trois semaines magnifiques dans ce lieu privilégié, avec des visites de membres de notre famille. La vue est magnifique, le fleuve offre un spectacle renouvelé de jour en jour, d'heures en heures. La localisation est stratégique, à une heure et moins d'une pléthore d'activités diversifiées (plein-air, culture, restaurants, producteurs locaux, etc) et pas très loin de Québec. La propreté était impeccable, le propriétaire répond avec diligence, la décoration est de bon goût, la cuisine très bien équipée, l'espace est abondant, et les chambres confortables. Je m'inquiétais de l'absence de borne de recharge pour mon véhicule électrique, mais la présence d'une borne de charge rapide (100 kw) à la pharmacie des Éboulements a permis d'éviter que ce soit handicapant. Nous nous sommes inquiétés de la climatisation, étant dans une période de canicule, vu la taille des fenêtres, mais l'utilisation des toiles pendant le jour a permis de conserver une température confortable. Après plusieurs voyages à différents endroits en Amérique du nord et en Europe, ce fut l'une de nos plus belle périodes de vacances. Coup de coeur assuré!!! Je n'ai pas l'habitude de retourner deux fois au même endroit pour les vacances, mais ce sera une exception, nous prévoyons y retourner l'été prochain!
