The host was very welcoming and answered all my questions straight away. The house was so very clean and the kitchen so well stocked. We loved spending time here and will book again.

Cute cabin overlooking small lake. Well equipped kitchen (but bring your own coffee). Definitely pet friendly and our family had some allergies because of it, just be aware. Near other houses but a quiet and beautiful spot. Has games and puzzles in cabin. DVD player wasn’t working and internet was sometimes too slow to stream a video.

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved this cabin. It was far enough from town to be a quiet getaway while also being close enough to Leadville and Turquoise Lake to make for a perfect home base while exploring the area. Our dog Lyla loved playing in the back yard and laying out in the deck while I enjoed my coffee. We will definitely be staying here again. The hosts were amazing and made our stay perfect.

Great cabin in Leadville

The property is in a great location. Private, but near other properties. Very close to Turquoise Lake and Twin Lakes, which we visited and kayaked. The mountain views near this cabin are amazing. Highly recommend.

Cabin by the lake

We loved the view with lake. Our kids enjoyed hikes with dog around the lake. Very relaxing and close to Leadville and Twin Lakes.

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful mountain cabin in a peaceful remote setting. Proximity to Leadville is very convenient. We enjoyed our relaxing stay.

Beautiful and quiet cabin

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. The cabin was cozy, peaceful, quiet, and clean. Very conveniently located near the local Nordic center and ski area. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Lake Flora Cabin

Wonderful stay at the Lake Flora Cabin! Sitting on the patio looking out at the small lake behind the property was incredibly relaxing. Just the escape that I was looking for. Would absolutely stay again.

Wonderful cabin!

We spent 3 nights here and it was perfect! Plenty of room for the two of us and our dogs. Everything was just as advertised, with no surprises. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Leadville!

Great cabin in the woods!

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend in November. We snowshoed on Tennessee pass with our dog and then built a fire in the wood burning stove. Everything was great.

The cabin was among very tall pine trees with a picturesque lake behind it. Sitting on the deck was very relaxing. Although we didn’t cook the kitchen had everything you would need. Pot, pans, glasses, coffee cups, spices. Actually the best supplied VRBO I have stayed at and we have rented houses for 25 people that weren’t as well stocked. Short distance to Leadville was nice. The view on the drive is nice. Not to mention access to twin lakes and the beautiful drive on Independence Pass on the way to Aspen when the leaves are changing. Great place to stay and drive to many different town around. Would recommend and if we come this way again we would stay here.

Place met needs and had a great weekend.

Location for Ski Cooper is excellent. Stayed at this same house last year and kitchen upgrade is an improvement. Bedrooms meet needs but sleeper sofa is barely adequate. Host should consider spending a tiny bit of money to revamp available games and complete puzzles. Would stay again next year if stays within this nightly range.

Just what we wanted.

Simple place while skiing. Cozy and convenient. Almost everything worked as intended. Could have used instructions on the sauce and the back sliding door took a lot of effort to operate. Overall, very happy with rental.

Great place to stay nearby ski cooper

We enjoyed the cozy cabin. It was very difficult to check in as there was no cell service and we did not have access to the address in time as we did not have service. In the future it would be nice to be given the address much sooner so we can save it ahead of time. The door was extremely difficult to open and a metal dividers between the rooms were coming out which was dangerous. We loved the sauna, the warm shower, and warm and cozy beds. I would come back

Quaint Cabin in Leadville

Location was great and the cabin just made you feel at home and relaxed. Back porch was a great space. Plenty of space in the living room. Picnic table and fire pit in the backyard. Visiting in July, you wouldn’t expect to be able to sleep with the windows open but we did! We never turned the air conditioning on because of the cool mountain air and the trees provided enough shade from the sun to keep the cabin cool. Would definitely stay here again.

cozy but outdated

nice cabin and homey but definitely needs updating....everything old. Pond in front but overgrown so could not see it. I do not like getting directions and code day before...we were traveling and did not have cell/internet service so I did not know if we could get the info. in time for stay. Sliding glass door to deck very heavy and difficult to open. A little confusing to find cabin in the neighborhood. Pricey for the outdated accommodations.

Quaint Cabin In the Woods

The cabin is a very cute, quaint little cabin by a lake. Very serene. We enjoyed our brief stay and getaway. Overall, we had a wonderful time. The cabin has ample seating, fun games to play ect. Our only complaint was that the company used to manage the property isn't easy to communicate with. The check in instructions weren't sent until about 30min prior to check in, which was a hassle because there isn't any cell service near the cabin, so we had to go back into town to access the instructions, then take a screen shot of it. The other two items that aren't big ticket items but was a bit of a letdown for us, was that there weren't any full length curtains in the cabin, except in the bedrooms. Not even the bathroom had one! We had hoped for one of our kids to use the futon in the living room, but since there weren't any curtains, that didn't happen, so we gave our kids the king size bed, and we took the queen. The last let down was the beds were extremely hard. This is a personal preference, not a knock on the owners at all. But, it should be mentioned in the ad, so others know ahead of time.

Review of this vacation spot

I stayed at this cabin with my boyfriend and two dogs. The cabin was clean. The bed in one of the rooms is broken. There are no curtains in the kitchen or living room which made it very uncomfortable at night. Also, when we arrived the sliding glass door was open and once I got it to lock, it would not unlock. I read through the property instructions and apparently it has been an issue for quite awhile. It was an inconvenience to have to walk out the front door to get to the deck. We also couldn’t enjoy fresh air from the back porch since the sliding glass door was not functional. Upon my arrival, I noticed there was dog poop everywhere which I had to pick up because I didn’t want my dogs stepping in it. When we were about to check out, the cleaning crew was waiting down the street which was also weird. We’ve rented a lot of properties through vrbo to get away and relax. This property stressed me out. Just FYI to the property management, getting check in instructions 30 minutes prior to check in is not okay and we did ask for check in details to be sent to us earlier because we would be traveling from Oklahoma.
