Cabin Stay for June 6-9, 2025
The cabin is beautiful and has amenities which attracted us to rent this cabin for our vacation. We were unable to use some amenities: Pickleball court flooded due to recent rainstorms and broken pool sticks, which we brought to the host’s attention.A major concern after arrival at the cabin was the noise produced by the home’s water pump, which was loud enough to make sleeping in the downstairs master impossible. This noise forced us to sleep our remaining two nights on the living room couches. We contacted the host regarding the noise, who sent a handyman to inspect the problem (not until the last day of our stay). The host informed us of the handyman’s inspection that it could not be repaired until after our stay.We requested compensation from the host for the discomfort and disruption of our vacation. The host offered as compensation a refund of the cleaning fee, which did not address nor apply to the issue of the water pump. We responded that this offer was not related to, nor adequately compensates for our stay’s disruption. After almost a month after our stay, the host requested to negotiate a different amount for compensation. Upon our response we did not receive any further communication or compensation from the host. Before renting this cabin, we strongly recommend that you inquire with the host in regards to the repair of the water pump or you may not be able to rest comfortably in the downstairs master bedroom, and be disrupted in the downstairs living areas.

Chilling after the Hustle and Bustle of Holidays
House offers wonderful amenities. Loved the game room (well equipped) and even ventured to the Pickleball court a few times (a bit chilly though). Played cards, games, watched movies....oh yeah watched the UK/FL game. GO Big Blue! Sleeping arrangements great. Overall a great experience. Hoping to plan a trip in warmer weather.
