We booked a last minute trip the day before arrival, the house was absolutely amazing! Had everything you needed. The beds were so comfy, all the family games they had for you at the house was my favorite part. Hot tub, new game room, so much space to still have quiet time while others enjoy doing things. My teenagers said this was the best vacation. We will definitely be back! The host was amazing at communicating & making sure we had everything we needed.

Perfect location and setting for a family gathering and weekend of relaxation. There was six of us along with our dogs and there was plenty of space to move around. This place had so many things to do to keep everyone occupied (pool table, hot tub, fire pit, etc.). The kitchen was open and spacious and they had a dining room table that goes on for miles. We loved that this place was minutes from Rock House and Conkles Hollow hiking areas. We appreciated all the amenities and communication with the host was easy.

This stay was amazing, the owners maintain it and you can really tell they care about making it a comfortable stay. Additionally they care about their guests, when I arrived there was a sentimental welcome letter for my group. If I had any questions, Justin replied within minutes.It was clean, stocked full of supplies to use to include cleaning supplies, towels, kitchen pots/pans/silverware.Very spacious, plenty of beds and couches so bringing a big family or group of friends is possible.Overall I do not think me nor my friends could find something to complain about even if we attempted to.

We had a wonderful stay at Hillside retreat! The home is big with plenty of rooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The home owner was very responsive, when we had a question and the home is well appointed with everything you need for cooking meals in. We would book this property again.

Great Get Away Spots

We had an amazing stay at this property! There was plenty of space for our whole group, making it easy for family and friends to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Whether it was movie time, playing games, or challenging each other at the pool table, everyone found something fun to do together.Our dog absolutely loved hiking the nearby trails with us, and the location made it easy to explore the beautiful outdoors. After long days of riding the scenic roads on motorcycles or hiking, the hot tub set at a perfect 80 degrees was just what we needed to unwind and soak in the views. It was also great that it was set to a timer to turn on the heat for a relaxing late-night dip before heading to bed.This place truly had something for everyone, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Exceptional House in Hocking Hills

Our stay at Hillside Retreat was nothing short of amazing! This beautiful property became our home away from home during our time in Hocking Hills. The peace, quiet, and tranquility were exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway.The house itself is incredibly spacious, impeccably maintained, and immaculately clean. The beds were all super comfy. The kitchen is well-equipped kitchen and provided everything we needed for meals.We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of entertainment options available. The pool table and foosball were big hits, and the hot tub was the perfect spot to unwind.Overall, Hillside Retreat exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place to stay in Hocking Hills!

Great stay

Justin and Kristin were great hosts - we had everything we needed. We setup camp and everyone had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The beds were super comfortable, not sure what mattresses they were but we slept great. There was so much space to kick back, relax and entertain. We cooked everyone a huge meal in the big kitchen and all ate together. Already planning the next trip.

Beautiful property, close to everything, will stay again

Stay was amazing. Hidden gem is exactly what we were looking for, with games, movies, hot tubbing and a great kitchen for cooking, it was hard to pull ourselves away to go to Jack Pine and Rock House, even just a few minutes away. Very cozy, with a sign saying the hosts were adding on to the game room. Can't wait to see it next time we stay here. Couldn't be happier.

A family place for all ages

Finally, a place that is the perfect size for our whole family and close to all the trail heads. There was plenty of space for everyone to have their own corner and yet the spaces were big enough everyone could fit in one room. I thought it would be a hassle to get to town but the Logan Walmart was only like 15 minutes away when we needed it.

Amazing Home and Property!

Get-a-way with friends - four couples. And plenty of room. Large kitchen, family, plenty of space for everyone. Especially loved the new hot tub! And all enjoyed the fire pit, looking at the stars.Excellent location. Easy to find and close to the caves.Very clean, great amenities, comfortable beds. Will be coming back to this one.
