Overall, a good experience with one major operational issue. I arrived later than planned because of a delay, and the staff handled it well—check-in was quick and I was in my room without much problem. Unfortunately, the Blanca Tower had only one functioning elevator the entire week. With the New Year’s crowds, this created long waits and made going to and from the room unnecessarily time-consuming. Everything else was fine, but the elevator situation seriously impacted convenience.

The hotel itself has so much potential. It’s clean, beautiful, has nice restaurants and bars. The monorail even picks up and drops off downstairs. However, all this is overshadowed by the lack of staff to check you in. If you arrive and there is any type of line be prepared to wait…and wait…and wait. I arrived at 6 pm on a Monday and the line was stretched into the lobby. I stood in it for about 25 minutes to only move about 10 feet. I realized that it if kept going at this pace I would miss my show at 8:00. I ended up leaving my bags with the Bell desk and returned again around 11:00 PM. It took 1:20 minutes to check in! I was offered a free drink voucher for my trouble but I’d rather there be more staff working. The room itself was nice, but the pillows were like bricks. I woke up with back pain. I’ve been to Vegas three times since July and I doubt I will stay here again. Please get it together Sahara!
