Tranquil Adventure!

Wonderful of the grid adventure! Like visiting family, the host is friendly and knowledgeable. You are right in the jungle with howler monkeys, colorful birds and lush vegetation. Rain on the tin roof at night made sleeping a tranquil experience.

Great host! Comfortable cabins in the middle of the rainforest. Beautiful trails right behind the rooms. The host is super friendly and has great knowledge. It is very small and private. Recommended a 4x4 for the street to location.

If you want the rainforest, not the tourist spots, then this is for you. Beginning at age 17, David, the dreamer, bought, built, and runs this place. As an ornithologist, he is a great birding guide who works for ebird. See data on the property’s ebird hot spot.He speaks excellent English and thrives on giving personal attention each guest. The cabins are as beautiful as the photos, but a rechargeable fan and 4x4 are useful. Using his degree in plant biology, David continues to improve and expand his property, and rainforest conservation efforts. He has developed unique , groundbreaking methods for reforestation with critical native plants,

I hardly ever write a review unless it is to warn you but this place deserves my opinion. This place is amazing, David did everything to make sure our stay was unforgettable. The food is made with love. There are monkeys, birds of every kind, frogs and his knowledge of these animals is very impressive. You will feel like you are part of his family. Great communication before and after our stay. I will definitely come back.
