Set on an elevated plot of more than an acre, Rathsillan Lakeside House enjoys sweeping views over Sillan Lake and direct access to the water. With five bedrooms and six bathrooms arranged over three generous floors, it offers plenty of room for larger groups and extended families to settle in comfortably.

You enter into a tall, airy hallway that leads straight into a spacious open-plan living area. The kitchen sits at the heart of the house, fully fitted and designed so several people can cook or chat together with ease. A large island and a small breakfast counter add extra seating, while full-height windows look out over the lake and brighten the entire space. A striking concrete dining table sits beside the windows, giving everyone a lovely place to gather for meals.

A double-sided wood-burning stove sits between the main living area and an adjoining sitting room, where you’ll find a generous sofa and a TV. Those seeking a quieter corner can slip into the Library, which has an open fire, a second TV and shelves packed with books and photographs charting the house’s redevelopment almost 20 years ago.

The ground floor includes an ensuite twin room, ideal for guests who would rather avoid stairs. On the first floor, the master double enjoys superb lake views and a spacious ensuite with twin showers and double sinks. Two other ensuite twin rooms are also on this level.

The lower floor is well suited to families who enjoy outdoor activities. It can be reached from the garden and includes a wet room, perfect after time on the lake, and a utility room with laundry facilities. A further twin ensuite bedroom sits here, complete with balcony and lake outlook. This level also includes a pool table and a relaxed play and TV space that works well for younger guests.

Outside, the hot tub sits above lawns that fall towards the private jetty. You are welcome to bring your own kayak or small boat to enjoy the lake at your own pace.
