Great house with fantastic views

The house and the garden are super. Very well equiped. The pool is nice and warm. You can also take the roof of the pool for a nicer look. The views from the terrasse and the eatingcorner give an extra. Lots of nice villages and places to visit.

Great Location for a Family Holiday

Wonderful location. Super views. Swimming pool. Walks from the house. Beach when the tide is in at bottom of garden. Other great sandy beaches 10 minutes away. Idyllic. The gravel track was a pain in an ordinary saloon car.

Bedding poor smelt of damp

Cleanliness poor - piles of hair and tissues in one of the bathrooms. Beautiful view and lovely beaches close by other than the cleanliness is was great.

Fantastic location and lovely building with plenty of space and great views. The pool was lovely, but the pool cover was slightly tired and not always easy to open. Beds were all comfortable and cosy. Kitchen was well kitted-out, although some of the frying pans weren't suitable for the induction hob so didn't work. BBQ was great and worked really well. Also easy to clean which helps. Table tennis table and room were a big hit - perfect space for it. House was clean throughout. Lovely garden and forest area with a rope swing the kids loved. Nice walk out from the bottom of the garden to the beaches.

Fabulous!

We had the pleasure of staying in this property in June 2023. We were 2 families and had plenty of space indoors and out. The house itself was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. The bedrooms were all spacious and had good storage, with all except the basement room having sea views. The master suite was especially luxurious with fantastic views. Some prior reviews said that the basement room was not suitable, but we found it to be more than sufficient and comfortable and was a great hideout for the eldest 'child' in our group (who is 20). The outdoor space is what makes this property very special. The pool was lovely and having a removable roof was very handy with the changeable Brittany weather. We were able to enjoy the pool all week despite the weather not always being very warm. The barbecue area, indoor and outdoor terraces were ideal spots to enjoy the views of the wonderful gardens and coast. The location of the house is quite remote, the local village of Paradis doesn't have any shops or restaurants but Pleubian (less than 10 minutes drive) has everything you would need. There is plenty to explore in the local area as long as you have transport. Overall we had a fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to re-book or recommend to friends.

The best holiday we have ever had!

We cannot fault this property. It exceeded our expectations in every way! The house is beautiful and immaculately clean. The view of the sea is just stunning and changes every 5 minutes. It was amazing to sit and watch all the boats, paddleboarders etc. The pool was the main highlight for us, You can keep the cover over it for safety when you are not using it and when they weather isn't warm, the shelter over the top keeps it nice and warm. It location was exactly what we were looking for. It was rural and very quiet. The local towns provided loads of places to eat and the Paimpol market on Tuesday was just brilliant for everyone! The house itself has everything you could need: two washing machines and two dryers (though we never really figured out the dryers properly!!) The pool table and table tennis table provided entertainment for all. We all enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and eating in the conservatory or outside when the weather was good. As a party of 9, there was plenty of space for everyone. There are plenty of places nearby to shop with everything you could need; even a Lidl (You must try the local Paimpol cider!) Alan came to visit a couple of times to welcome up and to say goodbye and provided us with ideas for things to do during our stay. Alan's communication was quick and thorough and we cannot wait to come back next year. Thank you Alan!

Super schönes Ferienhaus in idyllischer Strandlage mit wunderschönem Ausblick und großem Garten bis fast ans Wasser mit eigenem Strandzugang.Super netter Host, der jederzeit erreichbar war und sehr gute Ausflugstipps parat hatte. Es war unser erster Aufenthalt dort, aber bestimmt nicht der letzte!

Wir haben von Ende August bis Mitte September zwei Wochen zu 8 hier verbracht und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus ist über einen schmalen Schotterweg zu erreichen. Sobald man jedoch das Haus betritt, hat man die holprige Anfahrt sofort vergessen, der Blick aufs Meer und die direkt vor dem Haus gelegene Bucht entschädigen für alles. Ein Wahnsinns Ausblick! Das Haus bietet genügend Platz für bis zu 12 Personen. Im OG befinden sich 4 Schlafzimmer und 2 Badezimmer, 1 mit Dusche und 1 mit Badewanne. Im EG hat es ein weiteres Bad mit Dusche und WC sowie ein riesiges Wohnzimmer mit einem Billardtisch! Die Küche bietet mit einem Doppel-Induktionsherd die Möglichkeit, daheim zu kochen und vom Esstisch im Wintergarten aus die Aussicht zu genießen. Uns hat die Mischung aus alt und neu sehr gut gefallen: das alte Herrenhaus, mit Holzbalken und urigen Türen, in Verbindung mit den modernen Elementen (die Küche, 2xWaschmaschine und 2x Trockner!…). Der Pool ist ebenfalls erwähnenswert und hat uns viel Spaß bereitet. Dank der Überdachung ist er auch bei wechselhaftem Wetter super nutzbar. Im Keller befindet sich ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett. Hier wären Fliegengitter eine gute Investition, um die doch recht imposanten Spinnen draußen zu lassen. Direkt vom großen Garten kann man die vor dem Haus gelegene Bucht erreichen. Meistens hat man diese sogar für sich alleine, bis auf ein paar Wanderer kommt niemand vorbei. Kommunikation mit Gastgeber: Top! Fazit: Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Juste parfait

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette grande maison associant charme et fonctionnalité.Tout était présent pour le bonheur des grands et des petits (billard, tennis de table, piscine...).Le calme et la vue sont des atouts indéniables pour passer de bonnes vacances!La côté sauvage du coin est particulièrement dépaysant.Mention spéciale pour le sentier en bas du jardin permettant d'accéder au GR34 et à la plage "privée".Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Grande maison avec vue magnifique

Maison parfaite pour notre séjour en famille. La vue est incroyable et l’emplacement permet aussi bien de parcourir le sentier côtier que de visiter les attractions alentour (Paimpol, l’abbaye de Beauport, Bréhat…). Bonne communication avec Alan, le propriétaire. Je recommande.

Schöne Lage aber in die Jahre gekommen

Das Haus liegt sehr schön oberhalb der Meeresbucht mit Blick auf die île de Brehat, auf einem sehr schönen zum Meer abfallenden Grundstück mit kleinem Wald und großer Wiese. In der näheren Umgebung ist außer spazieren gehen nichts geboten. Das Haus ist von außen typisch bretonisch, innen leider in die Jahre gekommen, Löcher in den Wänden die bei schummriger Beleuchtung wie Spinnen aussehen, Esszimmer dunkel, Kamin nicht zu benutzen, Ledermöbel im Wohnzimmer haben bessere Zeiten erlebt. Im Wintergarten ist der neue Tisch mit eine Plastikdecke abgedeckt. Die Küche leicht klebrig, Messer und Pfannen wie in fast jedem Ferienhaus kaum nutzbar. Die Schlafzimmer im OG sind bis auf eines klein, wenig Ablagen , sehr weiche Matratzen, auch nur 160 breit für Doppelbett. Bettwäsche leider aus Kunstfaser. Ein Zimmer ist sehr schön groß mit toller Aussicht und großem Bad. Leider können die anderen Bewohner das Bad nicht mitbenutzen wenn dort jemand schläft, weil es sich hinter der Zimmertür befindet. Das 2. Bad im OG ist dunkel und nur mit Badewanne. Im EG ist noch ein Bad mit Dusche. Im Keller ist ein Schlafzimmer mit Fenster, das durch die Waschküche zugänglich ist. Der Pool ist mit einer elektrischen Abdeckung und einer Haube versehen, so dass ein eben mal Reinspringen nicht so leicht möglich ist. Man soll ihn auch immer abdecken. Bei uns war das Wetter nicht sehr schön und für 8 Personen die sich dann immer im Haus bevorzugt im Glasanbau aufhalten, auch eingeschränkt.
