Everything was very nice except there were no shades. It would have been nice to have a shade on the north side to have privacy from neighbor.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I loved the view out over the water, from the deck and from the upstairs room — that was my quiet reading & writing place. The home was well-stocked, the management company was VERY helpful when needed, and overall it was a great place. Only suggestion would be to add curtains or shades on dining room windows - on sunny days, the morning sun was a bit too bright.

Great views and nice house

We loved staying here! We needed a vacation to unplug and this house was perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed spending most of our time on the back deck and was visited by a bald eagle every morning. Awesome water views and lovely neighborhood (I liked that it was not on a main road and a short drive to Langley). Highly recommend!

Cozy House with Amazing View!

The house has amazing view of the water. It's smaller than what we expected but it's still very comfortable and very clean! The kitchen is well stocked and has all the tools that you need, including a pretty new stove/oven. Hot tub is very clean as well. The management company was very responsive and acted quickly to address our needs. Overall, it was a great stay!

Well-equipped kitchen with the usual amenities, and a washer and dryer in the laundry room. Huge, ultra HD TV was a plus, as was the fast internet. Attractive house with panoramic views from main rooms. Short—but steep—walk on a paved road to the beach. Boat ramp right there for your kayak. Near hiking trails, braces and parks. Short drive to charming Langley. Huge supermarket 15 minutes away.

Island getaway

We had a great local getaway weekend. The location is close to Langley but felt like we were secluded as it is so quiet. We loved watching the wildlife including a pair of bald eagles who flew over the house regularly. The loft was lovely to watch the sunrise and the eagles.

Had a change of location...

Booked a stay at this property, but had to move to a different location at the last minute because of a plumbing issue. The property manager was great giving us choice about where to go, but there were no properties with hot tubs. I would love to stay at this property in the future though.

Weekend stay

Check in was very easy with the directions provided. The space was better than the pictures could show for this property. Even though it rained they provided lots of options for indoor activities as well as things to do around the area. I would recommend this to friends and family.

Lovely getaway on Whidbey

We had a lovely long weekend at this cottage. The views are stunning. Our highlight was seeing a pod of Orca whales swimming right in front of the house! The neighborhood is so quiet that we could hear them breathing. Note: The only glitch was that there is a third party property management firm Involved, which complicates the rental process. It’s not just easy-leash one-click through VRBO. Also note that the house is not necessarily equipped with standard things you would expect like coffee, tea, cooking oils and salt. You might get lucky if other guests leave these things, but it’s best to come prepared.

Great view from an efficient well appointed house.

We stayed just two nights and had a wonderful time. Being on the high bank on a quiet street provides a fantastic view and a relaxing stay while being only a short distance to a really great private neighborhood beach makes it great for taking our dogs for a swim and reaching the water. We loved the little town of Langley as well as the nearby distillery and wineries - plenty to do close to the house.

A Perfect Property in a Perfect Location

A party of 4 plus puppy, we were very pleased with the property which provided excellent accomodation in an excellent location. Features and facilities were exactly as described and the instructions were clear and comprehensive. If there are any suggestions for future improvements, I think the addition of an electric toaster is a low cost no brainer as the current grill used to toast bread is not quick or effective. Secondly it would be useful to have some stair gates or other barriers on the decking to prevent young children and pets straying and possibly putting themselves in danger as the proximity of the cliff edge is very close and not obvious due to the plant ground cover.
