It was perfect! Unfortunately we were there for major rains, but one night it did clear some and we got to see the stars! The house fit our needs perfectly for a group of 9! Highly recommend!!

We had such a wonderful stay! The place was super cozy and had a warm, homey vibe that made us feel right at home. The fully fenced yard was perfect for our dogs, and it was so nice to find a truly dog-friendly spot. The hot tub was a great bonus. Stargazing here was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Check-in was a breeze with clear instructions, and communication with the host was easy and responsive. We didn’t run into any issues during our stay. Highly recommend for a relaxing and pet-friendly getaway! :)

PERFECT!!!

Everything was exactly what we needed. remote, quiet, secure, very comfortable, easy wifi, great communication with owner. last night, the glowing orange sunset was amazing thru the purple clouds and it sprinkled Mother Natures tears! hope to stay again soon.

Cozy and Private

First time using VRBO and this was a great way to start it off. Chris's property was spacious, comfy, clean, and serene. This time of year (late winter/early spring) Landers is super windy, but other than the weather doing its thing we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub and kitchen were our fave parts - all the amenities top notch and a communicative host to boot!

Great spot! Easy access and very relaxing

Super nice spot, had a cozy vibe while also having plenty of space. Hot tub was great and allowed for some relaxing. Following the instructions made it really easy and we spent barely any time in dirt roads to get to it. I recommend following those and not your gps. The area itself is a neighborhood, so there's plenty of people around. We didn't care for the neighbors 4x4 and dog noise, but we had no issues later in the day. All in all a great place.

Good Stay convenient to KOH

Was just what was needed for reason we were there; 2 Adults *friends stayed in house. Place was clean, easy check in, great communication. Only thing is the wifi is not great constantly buffered couldn't watch anything and hardly could communicate out while at house, plus no cell reception. *T-Mobile & At&t.

Perfect Secluded Family Vacation

We stayed for three nights to explore Joshua Tree and the surrounding areas. The property was perfect for our family of four. Hot tub was a highlight, and the kitchen was great.

Stay was great and accommodations were good but the spa wasn’t ready for us to use on our first night. The pool technician was late and arrived once we had already arrived. Then when we got in the water smelled and was cloudy. Technician had to return and drain and refill spa so night 1 was a no go on the spa. Next night it was great!!! Beautiful sunsets and views.

Great!

A great stay in the desert. We loved the Jacuzzi under the stars and the room for our dog to run safely. If you're there in the winter I recommend some fuzzy socks or slippers because the floor is cold! But otherwise very cozy and fun.

Just what we needed

House is cozy and clean. Decorated with such an eye for mid-century, modern desert vibe; we instantly felt at home and it had all the accommodations listed to make our stay easy and comfortable. Easy drive to west entrance of Joshua Tree Nat’l Park. Would definitely stay again!

Just what I was looking for

Was looking for some fresh air & time away from constant construction noise at my house in San Diego. This place checked all the boxes! Quiet, clean and well stocked. View from the hot tub at sunset was fabulous (also appreciated the cleanliness of the hot tub). Fencing around the property was secure - I brought my two dogs and they had fun exploring/running free during the day. The record player worked - great touch! Accessing the property does involve some sandy roads but I had no issue getting around (was kinda fun, in fact & I do not have four wheel drive). I’d stay again!

Our one-night stay at this small desert home, specifically chosen for dark sky astrophotography went as expected. The remote location provided an optimal environment for capturing stunning celestial views. The cozy home, though small, had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. However, I must mention there was a faint lingering scent of old clothing as you walk in. Nevertheless, the allure of the pristine night sky quickly overshadowed any minor inconveniences.
