Everything was as stated. We pretty much lived in the outdoor area as it was beautiful, comfortable and a had wide variety of seating areas. The pool and spa were both sparkling clean. The owners were quick to respond to our request for pool and spa temperatures. Highly recommend.

Oasis away from the hustle and bustle

If you’re hesitant to book the listing, don’t be! What an amazing home with gorgeous views and an incredible pool! My family of 6 and I stayed here for 4 nights to go to comic con and it was less than 30 minutes from the convention center same for seaworld. There were some very minor things like the kitchen faucet being a little loose or the ants and spiders in the yard but a quick spray and they were taken care of. Nothing to worry about just wanted to mention as we have a toddler and she would’ve found them if we didn’t first lol we hope to stay here again! Charles and Leigh super responsive as well btw! 5 stars

Pleasant and relaxing. ADA possible....

Selected for the shower and ability to get a handicapped adult in and out of the shower. Low curb. Plenty of room in shower for assistance. Property is not advertised for ADA access, but was very workable as such. If there was a grab bar at the shower entrance and one in the shower and a sprayer I think it would actually qualify. The amenities were generous. Didn't have to buy stables such as laundry/dish/dishwasher soap, garbage bags - very logical. Sugar/flour/oil/basic spices on hand.The pool/spa area was top notch. Not ADA accessible, but the rock/wall on right side was useful for handrail. The wide sidewall of spa was useful to sit and spin HC adult. Getting them down into and back out of spa required some heavy lifting. I only mention because our family can't be the only family with these challenges.The grill gas was pre-plumbed. No need to go and fill a tank. The smoker was electric and the wood pellets were well stocked. READ the owners notes for the smoker before using smoker. Notes in binder in LivRm.The lanai had generous and comfortable furniture, TV, gas firepit (awesome), and small fridge. dimable lighting.\The pool area had several umbrellas with patio furniture. Plenty of options to sit in sun or the shade. House is situated on a hill and the breeze across the property was pleasant.Neighborhood felt safe. Plenty of shopping options nearby.Host was responsive and easy to communicate with.

Quiet retreat

This home is located in lakeside in a quiet suburb in the hills. It is about 30-45 min from downtown San Diego and Legoland during non-rush hours. Stores and restaurants were about 5-20 min away, depending on your food preferences. The home comes with everything you’d need to have a great stay, including a large selection of pool toys and floats for the kids. The overlooking seating area is perfect for catching up with family while keeping a close watch on the pool activities. We paid for pool heating as we went in late October and the pool was perfectly warm for the kids (6 and 11), as well as the adults. The master bedroom has the dreamiest bed and I don’t think I’ve slept in better anywhere. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat at the end of a long day of adventuring- this is the spot!

Cozy with nice decor

Our stay was comfortable and was stocked with dishes, pot/pans, utensils that we needed to prepare meals. My complaint would be that the cleaning crew didn't do a very good job as there were many cobwebs inside and outside of the home. i had also forgotten something at the property and had asked the owner to ship to me and I'd pay the shipping fee; the owner said they would but Inever heard back from them.

Beautiful house and pool

I visited with 3 teen granddaughters for our annual Camp Nana trip. They were in love with the pool! House was clean and well appointed. We did not do any cooking, just coffee in the morning, but the kitchen was well stocked had we wanted to make meals. Only item I would have liked to see was a dresser or chest in all the bedrooms, I like to unpack and only the master had a place to put things. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend!
