We're located a 15 minute walk to Olympic Arena, Public Olympic Skating Oval and Inline skating Hockey box. Enjoy 5-15 minute walk to Mirror Lake Beach, Play Park, and Tennis Courts! Stroll into village for shopping, restaurants, bars and movie theater. A leisurely walk around Mirror Lake is a favorite of locals and tourists. This walking or jogging route goes right by your Signal Hill neighborhood. The Apartment is a blocks away from bowling alley, arcade, bike, canoe, kayak, guide services, and ski rental shops.

The Lake Placid Art Center is also within walking distance. Attend a concert, and plays. Check out the ever changing art gallery!

Free Summer concerts on Sunday and Tuesday evenings at the Lake Placid Mid's Park on Main St.

Josh’s place was perfect for our long weekend in Lake Placid. Communication prior to arrival was clear and helpful, and the apartment was as described in the listing.The space was spacious and beautiful. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the bed was super comfy!We walked into town and around the lake every day of our trip. The walk back is mostly uphill and then there are two flights of stairs - we are active 50 year olds so this was never an issue. We averaged about 24,000 steps a day!We’d definitely consider staying again given the great location, and beautiful property!

The owner was very communicative and responsive and replaced the broken coffeemaker within a few hours of us notifying him about it. Otherwise, the wi-fi, Smart TV, heating, off-street parking, ample paper products, and well-equipped kitchen were just as advertised. It's a great location to walk to Main Street in minutes. The street traffic was a bit more noticeable at certain times due to solar eclipse visitors but not a big issue. As the previous reviewer noted, this spacious and clean studio is reached by two flights of stairs in case that information is helpful.

1st time VRBO user...

And it was a good experience! This apt is just as described and was perfect for what we needed. It was a comfortable stay. Check- in/Check-out was easy and our host Josh was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Parking in town is tight but the apt is walking distance to Main St. and the Olympic Arena. The downside…after walking around town all day, the walk back (some of it up hill) and the 2 flights up to the Apt was tough on us seniors!

Everything you need for a downtown Lake Placid stay

We stayed at Josh's place while in town for a wedding and it was the perfect spot for my wife and I. It's close enough to downtown Lake Placid that you can walk to everything, but far enough off the main street that it's a bit quieter. Everything was better than expected: a super cool attic-style apartment with all the amenities needed for a short or long duration stay. My wife and I will definitely consider staying here again next time we're in town. Thanks Josh!
