We had 7 ladies for a weekend girls' trip! We had a wonderful weekend. Home is beautiful and comfortable. Spent a lot of time on the screened porch and in the pool. Definitely recommend to friends and family!

This lakefront home is a really beautiful property, nicely furnished and very well maintained. The view is stunning. The staff with ValGal Vacation Rentals were very responsive to any questions and about check-in and check-out. The booking process was easy, the rental agreement was clearly outlined and the payment process was split up to spread out the cost of the reservation. My family loved the property. If I were to provide some feedback, I’d recommend a few more towels as there were not too many and the kitchen was only lightly stocked with cookware. If staying for an extended stay, be prepared to bring your own towels or do laundry a few times.

Just want to warn others not to leave personal items down on the pier. My son left his phone and wallet on the picnic table to go in the kayak. Some young kids came and started swinging from the rope swing. He came back to find they stole his money out of his wallet. My husband called but we have never heard back from anyone. Sorta put a damper on the trip. House was great. The outside could have used some cleaning. The pool was dirty and food, dirt all over patio.

Lots of family space

Beautiful views of the lake, the pool was refreshing on hot days, the beds were very comfortable, the master suite was amazing especially the master bath shower & there was plenty of living area from the large kitchen table to the large couches.

At home on Lake Clay

This home was exactly as described. Beautifully appointed, nice view. The beds were very comfortable (two of us have back issues, so that was a big plus). The shower in the master bedroom was nothing short of amazing. It was chilly, so we did not use the pool. We did walk out to the dock to sit and enjoy our morning coffee. Be aware that the steps going down from the pool deck to the dock have some loose stones. A Publix grocery store was right across the highway which was convenient.

Was not as nice as expected but it was alright

The driveway was full of sheets of metal for a new roof so parking was very challenging. The pool was very dirty and we were told the weekly pool service had been done 2 days before our arrival but we could feel free to use the net etc to clean if we wanted to, and the big trash can in kitchen was still full from previous guest. So we were expecting something a bit nicer and cleaner but it worked for our weekend plans. It was also weird to have 1 master bathroom and then 1 other bathroom directly off the living/dining room area. It just felt like the bathroom was right in the middle of the room. It was ok but for many reasons we probably would not go back to this rental again.

Beautiful house, fantastic tranquility

The house was very spacious and had some wonderful amenities. The shower and the master was amazing! The lake views are spectacular and a lot of places to hang out and enjoy the outdoors. Sitting on the dock is very serene. Will definitely be back.. also, it's very closely situated to a Publix and a Wawa .

Lake Clay stay

The house was amazing, beautiful view, pool was too cold to swim in but a nice pool area. Loved the screen rooms. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for all to enjoy. Location to stores was convenient. There is ample parking.

Awesome Vacation House/Views

Such a great vacation rental, couldn't ask for anything more. The views to the lake with the pool were stunning, it was so nice to get up and sit in one of the screened in areas and have coffee and take in the views. We did not have a boat so we did not use the dock or lake, we spent the week in the awesome pool (we're from Chicago). Been coming to Lake Placid for the last 30+ years for a family reunion and this year we came early to have a week before meeting up with the others on Lake Placid and we will absolutely come back, enjoyed our time in this house. The house has everything you need, plenty of towels/beach towels/start up items and all kitchen utensils, you don't need anything -- oh wait, I couldn't find a wine opener and that is the only thing. Sleeping arrangements were awesome as was the host, always very quick and responsive. We will be booking again next year!!

Great time at the Lake House

We had a lot of fun at new year’s eve. The place was great. Close to downtown, restaurants and grocery store. The kids enjoyed the pool and playing by the lake.

Had a Christmas reunion in this beautiful house on the shores of Lake Clay. House is well equipped and spotless. Location is great. View is fantastic. Hope to return soon.

Awesome stay!

6 year coming to the area for Memorial Day Weekend. This house didn’t disappoint, the kids loved the lay out and the lake. Adults lived there best life by the pool and Dock. The rope swing was epic for all. Neighbors were all so kind. Bret the host, was great. Great stay and we’ll be back.

Nice place

The owner is very good at communicating and making sure all was well. We were not the best of tenants because my workers did not always follow the instructions given by the owner. He and his property deserve a rave review. My team on the other hand, does not.
