Gorgeous views, decent room, overpriced, especially for a Monday & Tuesday night ($250+) The pet friendly accommodations are out of control. The lobby smelled like dogs, people had small dogs, enormous dogs, etc. If your room is next to the pool (pool view), it is very loud, but at least it closes at 9.

Top of the world in Lake Placid!

You cannot beat this hotel if staying in Lake Placid. Don’t let the hill scare you! VERY walkable and you’ve got a view that can’t be beat. Inside is lovely, the rooms are spacious and well done…and the pool. The whole pool area is amazing. Clean, outstanding attached hot tub, plenty of towels and other activities on top of it all. We enjoy some great cocktails in their lovely restaurant. Would stay here again immediately!

We loved everything about our stay. Pool and hot tub were excellent. Enjoyed the ping pong and corn hole as well. The whole stay was a great experience. We will definitely come back.

Great hotel

We always stay at the Crown Plaza when we are in Lake Placid for skiing. I’ve done so for 20 years. Wouldn’t say anywhere else. Always a great experience.
