This spacious cabin is just what you need to spend some time away from the everyday. Gorgeous long range mountain and Lake Lure views. The cabin is equipped with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. There is a well equipped kitchen and dining on the main level. Living room is open to the kitchen and dining making it a great space to hang out with loved ones. This home offers two Master Suites - one on the main level, and another in the basement, both with an en-suite bathroom. There are two additional bedrooms on the upper level - one with two twin beds and the other with a queen bed. There is also a full bath on the upper level. Two additional half baths offer options for everyone after a long day outdoors. An additional family room in the basement is great for watching TV and playing Foosball. There is no regular cable/satellite services at this home. Apple TV is available in the basement family room. Guests are allowed the privilege to responsibly use the three kayaks available at the home. This home offers access to the Riverbend community - enjoy the private beach area on Mirror Lake, soaking at the Swimming Hole on the Broad River, and hike the Nature Walk. We look forward to hosting you at The Overlook!

***This home is located in a community that limits the number of vehicles allowed to 2 vehicles. This home allows up to 2 dogs. Dogs must be house trained and a Pet Addenda must be signed by guest(s). A pet fee of $100 plus tax applies. Guests are required to sign a Vacation Rental Agreement at the time of booking. Please NOTE: This home is located on a one way gravel road that is steep in some areas.

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful cabin above LakeLure. Gravel road a little scary. Bore bees are really eating outside rails and wood. Hopefully they can do something to stop them.

Awesome views

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is large and comfortable. The views are magnificent from every room. The location feels remote but is actually quite convenient to restaurants, grocery store and Chimney Rock Village. I do advise anyone who is considering this home to be aware that there is only one true parking space. Any additional cars have to park on the side of a gravel road. But there is no traffic whatsoever so it’s not a big problem. Overall, I highly recommend this home!
