It was easy to manage 2 well behaved dogs due to the resilient floor covering and simple rugs. The kitchen was well appointed. The remote location was ideal and peaceful. Beautiful walks, wonderful cooked meals, reading and comfortable beds, made for a relaxing 50th wedding anniversary.

10/10 recommend! Accurate description of online listing. Excellent communication with host. They were attentive and available as needed to contact throughout our entire stay. Rental is VERY clean and comfortable! Amazing view of Lake Superior enjoyed from both inside the cozy sunroom and the backyard. The home felt very cozy and private. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing. Stayed with our two pups with plenty of yard space! We've been traveling to the UP for years and this was hands down our favorite spot! A hidden gem in the Keweenaw! You won't be disappointed!

The property is very well-appointed-everything we needed. The sunroom has great light and a wonderful place to see the sunrises over the lake. And the house is isolated enough that we had enough of a Dark Sky to see the Milky Way.

My husband, my 13-year-old son and I had a great visit. The house was clean, and very well stocked. Honestly probably one of the best stocked homes I have seen out of the 10 or so I have stayed in the past. This was my first time staying with a VRBO host and I was impressed. I gave four stars because I think the mattress in the king bedroom needs to be updated along with the seating arrangement in the family room. The access to the beach was fine and we didn't have any problems using the temporary ladder to get down there. Overall, it was an awesome stay and I plan to book in the future.

This was a great stay! Beautiful property! We absolutely loved catching sunrises from the beach and having bonfires with the sound of the waves to unwind in the evening! The family games and things to keep children busy were a great touch as well! This was a perfect base camp for our UP travels!

This property is just lovely! It's quiet, remote, serene and our hosts were kind enough to allow our dog to join us. The home had everything we could possibly need, and more, and was immaculate. Our only regret was that we couldn't spend an extra day. We were greeted with a glorious sunrise our first morning, which we enjoyed from the enclosed back porch. That evening, we were gifted with a double rainbow! The views are spectacular. This will be our go-to place when we visit the Keweenaw. Thanks for your kind hospitality!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was very clean and thoroughly equipped with everything you could possibly need. The sun porch on the lakeside was wonderful for watching those beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the majestic Lake Superior!

The property was clean and felt more finished than the impression I got from the photos. Access to the beach was tricky, involving getting a ladder from the garage and using it to descend to the beach, but I understand they're planning to add easier access soon. The beach itself was absolutely gorgeous and serene.

We had a lovely stay at this place. Spacious and cozy for rainy weather. The heat was on when we arrived. This was so welcome in coming in from the cold rain. We especially enjoyed the back porch room. It was like a sauna in the afternoon. Once we warmed up we opened the windows and enjoyed the fresh breeze. The only drawback was there was no easy way down to the beach, but we knew that from the VRBO site.We made use of the board games. Thanks for supplying them. This place is recommended.
